"I thought he understood... I thought even if he did not listen to me, he might have kept your advice to mind? What am I going to do with him?" She asked rhetorically as she shook her head and waved it off, not very pleasant conversation. "Have you heard much of anything from Aegor?"

"I am sure my Elyanna oftentimes wondered the same thing," he said, at least attempting to keep the mood pleasant. "This kingdom was built by rash men with level-headed wives. Fatherhood has a way of tempering a man though, making him recall what he has to lose before he acts."
"Despite coming up under the same roof, I am not sure I know Aegor, certainly not well enough to have earned his confidence. I imagine there are few besides Daemon who have. The last I heard, he was preparing for a diplomatic visit to the Stormlands."

"He is a funny one, my brother," Seasha replied, with a small shrug, "I've been remiss in my letters to all my family in King's Landing, things have been too busy here to stop, let alone write letters."
"We shall have to see with Belric, though. How are you finding Harrenhal?"

"Far better than my last visit," Harys replied with an earnest bluntness that made it clear he did not give empty praise. "It is good to see some improvements made to the eyesore on my border, but the company is preferable as well. Whether allies or enemies, the Lothstons never rubbed me right, even when we thought them sane."
Ser Simon grimaced, but Bracken did not seem to notice. Then again with Whent's grim demeanor, it was probably hard to tell if you did not spend as much time in his company as Saesha did.

"Harrenhal is so large you can seeing from stone hedge?" She asked, feigning shock, "I am sure we shall be the very best of neighbours, you and I, we have a lot to gain from one another I am sure, and it is always good having friends close by." She smiled to the lord.

"Speaking of gain, I could not help taking note of your new port," Bracken remarked, taking the segue. "Lord Roote and his vassals charge an arm and a leg in tariffs for access to the sea, like the Freys with their damn bridge. Providing a more amenable rate would certainly go a long way towards solidifying our budding friendship."
