"I would suggest that perhaps Jon and myself also accompany you to the granaries, brother.' said Edmure who had watched proceedings between Belric and the smith silently up to this point. "I myself would like to see a full accounting of the stores. There must be records taken and kept by the former steward."

Belric stood up from his chair, "I expect to see more of your work as we rebuild. If we are done, I would hear you tell your men the terms of our deal and that they can return to their homes. You may choose the men to accompany me to the granaries, I will be wanting an accurate appraisal of the stores before we begin distributing it amongst the people." He called the men together outside, at which point he explained how things would be. No man grumbled when hearing about their new lord, nor the coin and grain to be distributed. The name of Ravensbane was well known in this place, it had been a long time since these men paid any mind to who sat the Iron Throne. Then came the subject of Ser Simon, and the screams of bloody vengeance on the House of Whent. That discussion lasted the longest by far, with Jaime being interrupted regularly with protest. However, the smith did something unusual. He never argued the merits of the deal, for there appeared to be few. Instead he simply repeated key phrases. "Stripped of his position." "No authority over Harrentown." "If suspected..." "...join the Night's Watch." By the end, there were pockets of men actually grinning among themselves. It wasn't exactly like many of the dark fantasies these men had nurtured over the past few days. but the coin and grain made it easier to accept. There were no proper oaths between a lord and his people. Few ever even saw the man and the man rarely had cause to give a fuck about them. So instead, Jaime had the men simply kneel and declare 'Milord'.

Belric stood tall before his people, waiting patiently for Jamie to finish recanting the conditions of their deal. He did not speak as they argued, only watched them with composure. When the dust settled, and the men had bent their knees, Belric took a large step forward.
"Harrenhal has not been kind to you these last four years." He spoke with strength, "Nevertheless, winter is upon us and there is much that needs to be rebuilt, now that the war is over. Go home to your families, and mourn for the ones you've lost. In a few days time, I will call upon you to reclaim the jobs your families have held for generations." He finished as quickly as he had begun, turning and walking away from the crowd with a flourish of his cloak.
"Jamie, have the grain coalition sent over to the stores. I will meet them there momentarily." His orders were direct, negotiations were through and Belric was Lord. On that final note, he left the armory.

Saesha followed him out, to speak to Ser Simon with him.

Yoren had done what he could to keep himself busy since the castle was restored to living condition. He'd done his best to clean, but he wasn't a builder, nor a man for books, and as much as his father lamented it, not skilled as a smith. He was a fighter, and a knight, so his bread and butter were his weapon, and his prowess.
So he'd decided to come down to the armory to see what it offered. Looking for a new weapon he could use, and give his hammer a proper rest from its long service by his side.

Somehow, the barracks feels much emptier since the revolt. The dozen men not on duty eat their food at one of several massive tables that was probably meant to seat fifty. Their cuisine is far less appetizing than what typically appears on Belric's plate.
Someone cries out for attention when the Lord enters and the men present stand and kneel.

Belric looked for the commanders table, not wanting to waist time. He would then gather his officers and relay the news of impending ambush, as well as his intentions.

Juran followed his lord, the room was thankfully full of strangers. Taking a breath he stepped aside from the door, standing to attention with his spear in hand to see if he would also be waiting nearby when this plan went into action.

Willis showed up as well, standing near Belric and doing his best to look as knightly as his new title warranted.

Belric and Willis recognize the barracks officer as the angry, bearded man who had taken them captive on their first visit here. He approaches the highborn party with the slightly nervous look of a man who once made his master kneel in shit. "Milord? Is there something you require of us?"

"Arm the men. There is to be a raid on a local tavern called the Unlucky Crab. If we move with haste, we may be able to set a trap for these bandits." Belric spoke with authority, but remained calm while delivering his orders.

"Yes, milord." The sergeant called out his lord's orders before turning back to Belric. "It's but an hour's walk north of Harrentown, if I recall correctly. We should make good time on horseback."

"Very well," replied Belric. "I have already told the stable hands to prepare the horses. We should head out as soon as we are ready."

Willem quietly made his way into the room and stood at the back, saying nothing.
