"The ravens in the rookery have been eaten. If this house wants to communicate with other houses we are going to need Ravens. As many of the birds as you can catch." Percival said his smirk fixed in place. It amused him to ask so soon after she had been attacked. He wondered if she would be too afraid to comply with his command. "Also if you can capture any of the Crows I would like to study them as well."

Dacey opened her mouth to say "Fine" in the most passive agressive tone known to mankind when it occurred to her that local ravens could only be used to send letters between Harrenhal towers, if that.
"I doubt any of the other houses ate their ravens. They should still have ours," she said.

"That will work for some of them. How ever any that were sent here during the siege would have been consumed by these idiots." Percival replied simply. His mind working out a plan to get the rookery working. "I will have to arrange with a local Maester to send out requests for New Ravens to be sent here from locations but it would be good for us to have Ravens trained before I start making new friends." His face returned to the slightly blank face he affected to hide his emotions. "You may not know this but most Maesters are three hundred pounds of manure tied inside hideous robes with an ugly chain."

There was a hint of a smile on her face, but it faded as soon as it appeared. "Very well," she said with a nod. "I will get you the ravens."

"Any of those Crows as well. Even the dead ones. I must know what caused them to go mad." Percival replied. "When you have them bring them to my tower." Percival pointed at the Tower where only he lived. He was quite pleased with that decision. He was going to have to buy the Admins something nice. No, on second thought just a card with a couple of words of thanks. He was not made of gold coins after all.

Dacey walked the small distance over to the nearest crow she'd shot earlier, and handed it over to Percival. "Those may be harder to catch alive than the ravens you require. I'll see what I can do," she said.

Percival took the bird from here and snorted. "Well... Well... Thank you for your prompt service." His hands and eyes started examining the bird for any difference between it and any crow he had seen before. "I am apparently as blind as a bat." He turned to bird over and dipping his finger in the birds blood he began to test the viscosity, rubbing the liquid between two fingers.

I'm not sure how much time Maester Percival had spent playing around his crow's blood, but some children were special like that. It felt like crow's blood.

Dacey watched the maester poke the dead raven for a minute or so. Then it got weird. "I'll leave you to it," she said with a nod that marked a farewell, and left.

The Maester chuckled to himself, as he walked away in the other direction.

////////////////
23rd Day, 2nd Moon
Dacey entered the Godswood, trying to determine from afar whether the murdersquad had claimed the heart tree this particular evening or not. She was in her usual leathers and fully armed, her hair down in a long braid this time. The claw marks on her face had more or less faded, though there was a faint white line on her right cheek that was probably going to be there for a while.

Having picked the dead maester clean, the flock of carrion birds appear to have sought food elsewhere...for now.

Saesha was in the Godswood for an entirely different purpose. She was surveying the area to see what place would be best to chop down to create her Greenhouses.
She looked around the area to that effect, noticing Dacey, but wanting to completely her task first.

(-10% to Building Cost and Time)
Within the sprawling twenty acre godswood, she decides that the best place would be the eastern edge along the wall by the postern gate. The foliage wasn't too heavy here and the land was flat. She judged that workers could easily clear out four of five acres for a sprawling greenhouse complex without disturbing the natural beauty of the Godswood or encroaching upon the heart tree.

Saesha made some notes in her book and then finally walked over to Dacey.
"Lovely out here is it not? Helps you to clear your head."
