At the seventh bell, Alice Blackfort arrived for the dinner. She wore her red coat over her dress again and this time her hair had been magnificently curled. She wore some simple make up as well - black around her eyes, a pale foundation and some rouge on her cheeks as well as a soft pink balm on her lips. She left her guard without and entered.

The Master of Coin awaited within, a small table of two chairs set up for an intimate supper. He had squeezed himself into a yellow and green doublet at least a size too small, looking like an overstuffed container of pastry dough.
"You are a picture of beauty, this evening," he said, actually standing on his wobbly legs which threatened to give carrying his girth, realizing he did not know her nae as she had never given it. He had likely written "Blackfort Whore" or "Tavern Wench" in his schedule, but that hardly mattered at the moment.

Alice smiled. "Oh, you are too kind Lord Butterwell. Quite the cozy little arrangement you have set up here," she said, indicating the table and chairs. Slowly she removed the jacket she wore, revealing the dress beneath. It was of pink silk and sat tightly. Though a little more conservative up top, the skirt was indeed rather short and ended mid thigh. Should she need to bend over it could get tricky. She wore a necklace again and a few not-so-ostentatious rings, as well as some large hoop earrings - the only remnant of her more common wardrobe.

"This? This i nothing. Just the best I could do with such short notice," Butterwell replied, eyes bulging as she took off her overcoat and he gave her short dress the same look the gluttonous lord gave the gravy bowl at a feast. "I see why you were so eager to show off your new dress."

"I've been posing in front of a mirror in it ever since I received it, Lord Ambrose," Alice admitted, only half lying. "Do you like it, m'lord? I think I would be a little embarrassed if I wore it to court... perhaps it is a little to show?" To emphasize her point she did a little spin for him on the lightly heeled shoes she wore.

"Nonsense, I am sure it would liven things up," Lord Ambrose assured her, eyes on her skirts as she twirled, deciding that apparently the fourth time was the charm with these Blackforts. He supposed statistically, with so many of them, at least one had to be tolerable. "Have a seat. I hope you like pheasant."

"Pheasant is delicious," Alice replied, giving Butterwell an excited smile. She moved over to the table and sat in one of the chairs, openly crossing her legs before moving them beneath the table. "But perhaps you are right; at the next even I shall perhaps wear this dress or something similar. Perhaps, whatever that event may be, you would like to escort me to it?" She asked, picking up a glass and looking at him over it with sultry eyes.

(House Blackfort Gains 1 Disposition Level with Lord Butterwell)
"I would be honored serve as escort for the daughter of my esteemed bannerlord," Lord Ambrose replied, likely the first time he had used the word 'esteemed' in the same sentence as his new bannerlord. "If my wife is unable to make it out from Whitewalls of course," he added hastily, as if he had forgotten she existed for a moment, lost in Alice's eyes.

"I did not know you were married, m'lord," Alice said, wondering who the poor woman was. "Do tell me of your wife; is she... is she prettier than me?" Her lips remained parted for a moment. "She must be, as she is a noble lady." She gave an easy laugh and drank from her wine glass. "I cannot believe how blessed I am, serving as Lady in Waiting to the Queen and being dined by the Master of Coin!" She tossed her hair slightly, making her earrings bounce against her cheeks.

"Well you are a noble lady as well now," he assured her, not really answering the question. His wife was a middle aged woman that had born him two children, not a nineteen year old sexpot. It was almost a rhetorical question. "It is good to be grateful for the boons we receive," he added, leaving unsaid that her boons were entirely due to her brother's actions and luck, whereas he had worked hard and schemed for his own. "I am glad to have made your acclimation to King's Landing a pleasant experience."

"I don't feel like a proper noble yet but perhaps that will come with time," Alice admitted as she took another sip. "And I am glad that you are here, Lord Ambrose; a wise man who can no doubt give advice to an innocent and inexperienced young girl." She giggled again and set her glass down, beginning to eat. "Is there anyone at court I should watch out for, do you know?"

"I am sure you have more than enough experience in the areas that truly matter for a young woman," the boorish lord said, placing a meaty hand upon her own, a licentius glint in his eye. "As for those to be wary of in court, well, each is a hard learned lesson that is best experienced firsthand."

Alice raised an eyebrow at him, thought he smile remained on her lips. "Oh? Surely you would not wish me to come to any harm, m'lord?" She asked innocently, biting her lip softly. "Or perhaps you wish some peril to befall me that you can then save me from, hmmm?" She winked.

(Need a persuasion roll if you want something)
"Or perhaps it is just boorish to speak ill of my peers at a pleasant dinner," he replied, as if he he were not a boor and as if this were pleasant.
