Benjen gave another flash of a smile as he picked up on the joke. However, his face turned somber as he once again 'recounted' his escape from the north. "She did not, regrettably. For reasons that are impolite to share in a lady's company, my mother was unable to leave with me. She only told me to run, and to keep running until I couldn't anymore. So it has been for the better part of fifteen years, my lady. Since your family was so good to me during the war, I figured it was time I stopped running and made something of myself. As for my father," he continued, "I never knew the man. Yet my mother told me that he was one of the sons of Lord Glover, and that the name of 'Snow' was the only birthright I would ever have."

"Well, bastards are on the rise," she said with a genuine smile, she was a bastard herself. I am sure we will be and to find a place for a loyal knight, who has served my new family in the past. Bonds like that are important."

"Ah, not a knight, my lady," Benjen said, raising a finger to correct her. "Never anointed, just handy with a sword and know my way around a scouting party." It was a mistake that quite a few folk made. Even so, he would not refuse the offer if it was presented to him. "Even so, if possible I would like to resume my work with your family's scouts, perhaps even restore a bit of order to your borders by taking care of bandits within them."

"We are in need of a some greater measure of order it is true, I am certain my lord husband would be appreciative of any all all who insist in the endeavour. Do you follow the seven then, master snow?" She asked, not owning the mistake but repairing the damage with a revised title.

Benjen did not know the Lady Seastar's religious leanings, but he knew that there were some members of House Blackfort that followed the Old Gods the same way he did. Even so, he chose his words carefully.
"Nay, my lady. I was raised in the traditional Northern fashion, and follow the Old Gods as a result." It was not his place to question why, but he would be lying if he said he wasn't at least a little curious as to the nature of the question.

"That makes a lot of sense." she noted, smiling again, "it matters not to me what your religion is, if that concerns you," she noted the tension as he spoke, she had no ulterior motive, "I was just wondering, if knighthood was an aspiration then you may find that as a barrier."

"My lady, a man I served with said that he knew knights that were cravens and fools, and mercenaries that were wise and just. I've seen plenty of the former, yet I still have to meet the latter. I swore my sword to you, so that means I will do what I can within my means, title or no." They were honest words, yet words were only wind. He would have to act to back them up, and he hoped he would have the opportunity soon.

"You do not need to sell me on the fact that titles do not make men good and just. All knight should be just, but I am aware this is not a reality. I judge people on how they present themselves, not by the letters before their names."

"Then I hope that my presentation meets your expectations. With your leave, I would like to acquaint myself with the castle further," he said, standing at attention until she gave him instruction to do otherwise.

"Of course. I am sure my husband will call on you soon enough." she said, and smiled before looking back down.

Benjen bowed politely and left, confident he had made a good first impression.

27th to 28th Day on the Second Moon
Yseult bimbles about when she has time, humming merrily whilst carefully packing M'Lady Harrenhal's needed items and clothes for the upcoming trip to Tully's son's home.

///////// 3rd Day 5th moon
Saesha invites the other noble ladies for a luncheon with her in her solar, which had been transformed slightly from it's usually busy state into being nicely decorated and filled with tables and sofas on which ladies could sit. Less formal than the feast the night before, but Saesha wanted to network with the other ladies.
She also invited both of her good sisters, Violet and Dacey, but specified that their attendance was not necessary, mostly for Dacey's benefit.

///////// 3rd Day 5th moon Saesha invites the other noble ladies for a luncheon with her in her solar, which had been transformed slightly from it's usually busy state into being nicely decorated and filled with tables and sofas on which ladies could sit. Less formal than the feast the night before, but Saesha wanted to network with the other ladies. She also invited both of her good sisters, Violet and Dacey, but specified that their attendance was not necessary, mostly for Dacey's benefit. Lord Orland Frey's sister Arya arrived first, followed a moment later by her younger cousin Visenya. Arya, unlike her sister the Lady Tully, had a much warmer expression for Saesha. She was dressed in a modest blue dress that revealed little skin. Saesha was well aware Arya was past her period of mourning for her first husband slain in the war, and had no children of her own. Orland would be looking to wed her. Visenya was only 18 by the genealogy, and had not been shy about her intent to find a husband at this tourney. Her clothes were far more revealing, though still quite intricate. Arya curtsied first. "Lady Saesha. Thank you for inviting us."

"You are most welcome, Lady Arya," Saesha replied with a full curtsy of her own to the both of them, "And Lady Visenya,"
she looked between the two and invited them inside, offering them seats on a comfortable looking sofa opposite a chair that she sat in. "I hope the journey was easy on you both and that you have found Harrenhal more hospitable than it is rumoured to be. I should think you both want to be well rested after such a long trip from the twins."
