Her eyes widened slightly. "You draw, ser? I would like to see one of your drawings, if I may. I enjoy looking at well-drawn pictures." That was all the time she'd spent at the motherhouse, she knew. They'd had a small library of religious texts, some of which had been gorgeously illustrated, even, occasionally, in coloured inks. But there was only so many times a girl could look at a prayer book, or The Seven Pointed Star. "I do my best. I'm told I have a talent for it..." Yoren said as he rubbed the back of his head in a bit of embarrassment at the compliment, "I used to make wanted posters back in my old village. Then when the war came, maps. They helped...most of the time." He said, a bit of a blush as he said it. He didn;t have the best memory ever, but when he did, he could put it to paper well.

"Life can only get better from here" said the mason deadpan. "But for now I'm just looking, seeing how the towers stand. Will take thousands to get this place to what it was, or even to get use out of the towers. "Oh yes. We will all be old and grey by the time it's finished, I suppose. Well, master mason, Harrenhal's rise to glory shall become your life's work. Not men man can say that." "I do my best. "Oh yes, maps are extremely useful," Violet agreed. "Perhaps you might draw Lord Belric a map of his new domain, an elegant one to hang in his solar. I'm sure he would like that very much. But what kind of drawings do you prefer? People, scenes, or maps?"

"Nature..." Yoren answered without even a moments hesitation, before he thought better of it and elaborated a bit, "I like...wide landscapes to draw. Where you can see for miles and miles..." he explained, always finding it relaxing to draw those.

"Mmmmm, suppose that is true. Don't think it'll be that easy, even if we get the gold. It never is. I'll be on my way" he said to the two, eying the red faced knight critically. Man drew? Be he didn't know a hinge from a axel.
The mason left, to go to the next tower.

Violet smiled at Yoren. "You will have many fine views from here, I'm sure. I hope you will show me one of your sketches one day. Perhaps, if I am lucky enough to marry a wealthy man, I will commission you to draw some lovely pictures for my chambers."
