"I'm certain you will have far more soon enough. While you may not have been born high, you are now as highborn as most will attend your brother's tourney." He leaned against the fence. "Your cottage will be a castle, I think. Not so grand as Harrenhal, but yours, I think. Still... There is much to be said for a small cottage to call your own."
If that was a proposition for intimacy or commentary on the virtues of autonomy, he didn't elaborate.

She listened to him, as she returned Pug and Duncan to their pens. Daisy trotted out and sat with her. "Lord, that is the correct title is it not", she asked. Aelison grinned,"Are you trying to make a proposition towards me? Sometimes I can't tell with most men, that's why I am asking you. Hopefully you're going to be honest.""

(Success. One point awarded.)
Without shame, he declared, "Aye, Mistress. You've hounded out my intent as surely as I might hound you to your bed."

The "hound" references made her laugh and shake her head. "That was very... cute and I like that you were honest.." Aelison stared at him, then whispered to Daisy. The dog stood still, staring at Hoster with tense muscles.
"Lord Hoster, another question, if you would allow me... If I was Gerdy, you would have come here and chosen your hounds for a hunt and then left to do it, correct? But since I am not the gigantic Gerdy, you want to choose your hounds, look at my ass, dream about my cunt, while you go on your hunt and then climb into my bed?"

(Success. Disposition raised by one.) Hoster's escort half drew his weapon when he saw the dog's stance before the noble raised his hand. "Hold, Barristan."
He lowered his hand. "Again, you have sniffed out the truth. I fear I would make a piss poor whisperer, Mistress Blackfort, at least in your court."

"Not piss poor for being an honest man, even with a dog prepared to tear you throat out", she rubbed Daisy's head and she relaxed. "I admire honesty..."
She then nodded, looking at him. "I think we should meet in the morning on the morrow for your hunt. The dogs and I will be ready.'

"Thank you for your continued tolerance, Mistress. And for the sake of posterity... It's not usually your ass that draws my attention when yours is directed elsewhere." He grinned as Barristan brought his horse to him.

As he rode off, she smirked and returned to the kennels to get ready for the next day's hunt.

///// She shambled in the space with Albah. Pushing whatever was on a nearby table onto the floor, she then placed him on it. "Okay let's fix you up", she grinned at him, his tail wagged lightly. Aelison readied the materials she needed to fix the dog's wound, then she looked to see if she had any milk of the poppy for him before she began.

She finds it clearly marked in a cupboard, courtesy of her predecessor's predecessor. She pours some into a bowl and lets Albah greedily lap of it before sleep eventually takes him.
She has to reclean the wound before she can begin sewing. Unfortunately, her hands struggle with the small stitches. She finds herself grappling with uncertainty when Ser Simon stares down at her.
"Lady Lothston has no intention of hunting any time soon. You should consider sending these hounds to the frontline, where they belong."
"I think not, Ser Simon." Aelison returns her attention to Father. He is so young and vibrant, but ill. He has been digging near that bloody tree. "Until Lady Danelle herself tells me so in her own voice, these dogs will remain under my care! And I would appreciate it, Ser, if you would not use my hounds to dispose of your..."
Aelison struggles to say the words. She has been watching the knight bury the little bodies for months now, and just as she had been expanding the training grounds. Today, her apprentice refused to step foot on the grounds. He stunk of ale and looked to have been crying all night.
"Well, it's a danger, especially to the young ones. Father here nearly choked on a femur."
Simon nodded without sympathy. "As you wish." He turned to leave the house, before halting in the doorway. "One day, Master Lyle, you will learn first hand the difference between what a knight does and what a hound does. And you will be astonished to see how subtle the difference is."
Aelison ignores the monster's rhetoric turns his gaze back to Albah, as he snores gently. The snitches are tight and precise. Aelison's hands are shaking far more than they should be for this feat.

Flexing her hands, relieved once they stopped shaking. She looked around the room,"What was that",she asked no one as Father stared at her a bit, then placed his face under her palm.
"... Training grounds..",she whispered. Aelison looked down at the huge dog,"You were there, weren't you?'
"Let's go see, shall we.."
///// They arrived. The area looked as if it hadn't been used in a fair while with straw dummies, sack dummies, dusty platforms and a huge tree off by itself at the end of the grounds. "Seems Gerdy didn't have a chance to straighten this place up", she picking up a stone and tossing it to one side. "I may think about asking Belric for an assistant."
Father sniffed and padded behind her until he left her and bolted over to the tree. He began digging. "What you got there", she asked him, running over to see.

What Aelison finds reminds her a little of the bird bones some superstitious folk boil and hang over their windows to ward off nameless terrors, but these objects had the opposite effect. What's more, Father keeps finding more and more, depositing them at Aelison's feet like some sort of tribute. In the end, she finds it easiest to count the skulls. Four the size of her fist, some already homes for whatever lives in the dirt, and another old enough to have taken its first steps. She sees no sign that they were killed by blunt trauma, though there are clear signs of gnawing, explaining the lack ofmeat after only a few years. Even now, Father chews happily on one of Simon's treats.

"Give me that", she pulls the bone from his mouth. Aelison leaves the bones of the children at base of the tree and decides to head back. She couldn't deal with this right now, Aelison decided it would be best to come back alone, clean it properly and take the bones to the Sept. "Come on", commanding Father as she walked away back to the kennels.
She needed a drink.

She finds Hoster Shoreham near the cottage, tossing scraps of what was probably his lunch to the other hounds. His manservant is absent this time.
His face lights up when he sees her approach, but his smile slowly fades when he sees her expression. "You look ill, Mistress."

Aelison notices Hoster, and frowns at his question or greeting or whatever it was,"Ill? That's a fine way to put what I saw." She brushed past him entering the cabin, grabbing a bottle of wine and pours two goblets full.
"Come in, if you like..."
