"Lannister seems to me to be a businessman, and no one keeps putting money into an investment that is not making you any money back. He is not a charity. He never sent ad to Tully beyond money, even to help him break the siege. If he were that set on the destruction of the crown he would have invested men." Saesha pointed out, "I do not think they'd be as difficult to rift as you claim. Besides, we only wish really to make friends, and make ourselves relevant, get a reputation."
"As for the cost? It would cost the same as the port, but would reap the same benefits of it too. Being able to grow food all year round is invaluable." She pointed out. House Pipse isvery short on food, who knows who else does. If we can make a surplus, we could sell it to them, and while they are buying the food we do no need we can stick pile the money for other ventures. Having excess food in winter is like owning a cool spring in the desert. We may have two projects on the go, but now Is the time to advance them, there's no need to sell food to people who can grow their own." She pointed out.

"Everything you just said is speculation," He replied, not being rude but remaining direct. "We cannot know how far their relationship goes, unless you have been spying on them for some time now." He gave her an inquisitive look, wondering if that was indeed a true assumption. "I would not think Medgar earned that kind of favor without some sort of personal relationship. The Lannister's may have a lot of gold, but they don't spend it aimlessly. I fear you are wrong in this, we will have to work tirelessly to sever that alliance."
Though he did not agree with her assessment of their situation concerning Lannister and Tully, he was in full compliance when it came to the greenhouse. "Another reason we should link ourselves to the Iron Bank. With their help, we could build the greenhouse and rebuild our towers within a much shorter period. If you want to solve the problem of our soldierless keep, the solution sits upon that same path. Otherwise, we will be destitute come the tournament and Violets wedding."
