Afternoon of the 3rd Moon, 24th Day
"So, you were very lucky Ser Malcolm happened upon you, how exactly did he save you, were there many men? There must have been to kill six guards and Ser Edmure."

"Yes, there were a few. I am not sure how many because I was confused and frightened," Violet said. "They had arrows, though. That made it worse, because they shot two of our men dead before Edmure and the others could draw steel. I thought I was going to die too. Edmure killed one of them and wounded another. And Brandon killed one too." She had decided to embellish the tale, to hide the fact that Edmure had turned on Brandon.
She paused as tears threatened again. The memories would stay with her a very long time. "I tried to flee, but I could not ride fast enough. Ser Malcolm saw me fleeing and rode to my rescue. One of the men made vile threats against my maidenhead."

"I thought you said you were captured and Edmure died in your arms" Saesha asked, pausing in her step for a moment.

"Oh, yes. Edmure wasn't dead when they caught me," she said. "He was bleeding though. And then they killed him in front of me."
She rubbed her eyes, "Ser Malcolm reached us then. He had seen me trying to flee, and knew I was in trouble when they caught me. He was too late to save Edmure."

"And seeing this knight approaching what did they do?" She asked, looking forward as she walked, Ser walked to that she was in front of violet and Ser Simon was behind her.

"They fought. It was so confusing. I was crying over Edmure and, and...when I looked up, there were dead bodies on the ground and Ser Malcolm was there. He promised to bring me home safely."

"well, it is fortunate then that your sister will be lucky in her mission to bring the bodies back safely. I do hope she would be kind enough to bring back the heads of the traitors, but I am sure she will do." She turned her head and smiled slightly.
"We shall have to give your saviour a place of honour on the high table for her services to the family. "So, just to get this correct in my mind, they captured you, took you back to where they killed Edmure, but he was not yet dead, then waited for Ser Malcolm to arrive, and then enough knights to kill seven men, while chasing you down were bested by one man?" She asked, "I just wish to make sure I have the right of it, Violet. Did they all die? If so, I will dispatch more guards with your sister"

"I think one or two might have survived," Violet said, uncertainly. "I heard their horses at one point. I was so confused. There was a lot of noise and I was upset about Edmure." She paused to gather her thoughts. "Edmure...they wanted to rob him, I think. Only he wasn't dead, only wounded. So they killed him, even though I begged them not to. He wasn't as valuable as me. I think they were going to ransom me."

"If they were going to ransom you, getting you out of there would be their main priority, even if only a couple of them made off with you, while the others stayed behind, no I imagine they had a more nefarious motive, no offence, the Lord's brother, his heir, would be far more valuable than you" She said enigmatically as they approached the Maester quarters, "You are probably in shock, I will go to your rooms and have the servants draw you a bath and bring you a change of clothes."
She walked into the room, and had Ser Simon Wait outside.
