Tim excused himself then headed over to Harlan. "Thought I might get some sleep," he said, giving Harlan a significant look. "Better give me t'key."

"Well, likely when one faction looses a war in Essos they are likely to also be killed and deposed. Their city conquered or depending on the enemy looted or blackmailed with violence. As for the ability of a knight, from what I have seen of your battles, a Dothraki horde is better then your heavy plate laden knights on horses. even my company was better equipped with our crossbows then one of your units of crossbow men. The famed unsullied of Astapor are probably better trained though since they are an army of slaves they cannot cover themselves in metal unless their master has the willpower to do so." Taero rambles on, "Plus even if an army of knights could take all of them on. Why then do your lords continue to hire and bring over Mercenary companies from our lands?" "You see what happens to the losing side in wars on this side of the Narrow Sea?" Dicer inquired, recent history on his side in this debate. "Whole families put to the sword, anyone that could raise a claim for the crown made a head short. War makes kinslayers of us all in Westeros. That there is the difference. Your wars end when there is no more gold to spend. Ours end when there is no more blood to spill." "Everyone in the Riverlands knows you Myrish were brought over by Bracken only to match the Raven's Teeth and I'd bet my horse you took more casualties than them on every battle your found yourselves on opposite sides". "I was not involved with our logistics and how many men we lost. I know in our unit we maybe lost one crossbowman to an archer." Taero states recalling the little of the war he saw. "As for the archers that got him, none of them remained standing. Was easier then a day running drills, there we usually have two or three people collapse from exhaustion."

Harlan grinned, he had always had a thing for proper Ladies. He obliged her request, purchasing a glass of red from Warren and returning to her eagerly. “Let’s take our drinks to my room, where we can ‘ave a little privacy.” "Splendid." Gwyn maintains her majestic smile. "You realize, of course, that certain provisions must be made."

Harlan was well versed in whoring, he had been one himself. “What’ll it cost me?” he asked frankly.

Harlan shrugged, “You’re fine tuh look at, I’ll give you tha’. I’m sure you’re worth it too.” He opened his arms to her, and motioned to his humble cloths. “But look at me, I’m not likely to ‘ave twenty silvers to my name.” He smiled, wanting to appear sincere. “I can offer you five. It’s not much, but otherwise it’s a lonely tavern tonight, for both of us.”

(Failure)
Her eyes grew cold. "I was raised in the court of Lord Harroway's Town. My husband shed his blood alongside Lord Belric Blackfort and the king himself. My cunt has sat across from royalty, and if you want to insert your pecker in the most sophisticated woman for miles, I think 20 silver is a bargain..." Her perfect smile returned and her soft, unspoiled hand touched his thigh under the barcounter. "Don't you think?"

Harlan did not balk at her story. Even if it was true and she had once been noble, now she was no better than him. “It’s a shame the bloody Ravensbane isn’t ‘ere to lick that ‘ighborn cunny of yours. Instead, you ‘ave me. But believe it or not, it’s your lucky day. I’m not going to fuck you like some noble cunt who’s more focused on the stick up ‘is own arse than he is with shoving one up yours.” He smiled at her seductively, “No, I’ll treat you right. Ten silvers and I’ll show you want it means to enjoy your work again.”

(Mild success.)
She maintained her imperial posture. "Fifteen silver. And we don't speak during the performance of my... commission."

"Pity they didn't teach you how to play farkle back east," the gambling knight replied, showing his dice as he scooped up what was the last of the mercenary's coin. "Better luck next time, friend."

Taero does a sound similar to 'bleh' as the man does so. "You want a real game, I can teach you how to play Cyvasse. Thinking man's game, not all this dependency on luck." He claims with his air of arrogance.

Tim headed up to the bedchambers to examine the area. He wanted to know how many rooms there were and whether any of them were open. If they were, he'd sneak inside and take a peek.

"You're gonna' drain my coffers, but I could never turn down such a fair offer." Harlan put one hand on her arm, rubbing her soft skin with his fingers. With his other hand, he tries to poison her wine with his favorite sedative, Curtain's Call. Without changing his demeanor, Harlan grabs his own wine and finishes it in a single sip. "Let's not waist the wine, love."

Harlan grinned at his success, his heart rate building in anticipation. He pulled her from her seat at the bar, and lead her to his room. Using the key Warren had given him, Harlan opened the door for Gwyn and ushered her in. He walked in beind her and after pulling his purse from his pocket, he plucked out fifteen silver pieces and set them on the bed.
“Why don’t you show me what I’m paying for,” he said, motioning for her to remove her cloths; a sinister grin spread across his lips.
