"How many tosses?" She asked. "Ten, twenty?" "I was going to start with three, but I like the confidence," he chuckled. "Three is not a sufficient test," she said. "We shall do ten. Ready? What boon may you offer me?"

With a chuckle, the knight offered her his arm to keep her steady. Having only had this half a cup of wine himself, Harlan was probably the most sober person in the room, bar the Kingsguard of course. "Perhaps some water, then. Come, I'll escort you to your chambers," he said.

"I fought where ever I was called too. That included helping Belric fight the evil Bloodraven at the redgrass field. We then followed His Grace and fought against Lord Baratheon when we could. Now that man knew how to command an army." Dany would have been dubbed a great beauty had she grown up in a noble house. Instead, she was merely beautiful. When she listened, she crossed her arms and paid careful attention, as though every word might matter. "I knew Brynden Rivers. We grew up together in this castle. He was always an outsider, but hardly evil. He was no more intense or obsessive than Bittersteel. I can't say I know anything about Petyr Baratheon or armies though. I was sent away to Gulltown to live with my House when Aegon passed. I didn't even know I had been legitimized until my mother's father, Lord Grafton had already cast me out on the streets."

Edmure scanned the room. The feast seemed to be winding down. He spied his bastard brother Tallahar talking to some woman. Nearby an attractive blonde who seemed very drunk appeared to be a little distraught. He sighed inwardly. He moved across to his brother and the other woman indicating the drunk Myrcella.
"Is she alright?" he asked, loudly enough to be heard by the drunk girl.

"Three is not a sufficient test," she said. "We shall do ten. Ready? What boon may you offer me?" "That sounds fine to me," Ser Whalen replied, not caring in the slightest at this point how many times he had to flip the blasted coin. It was not as if he was doing this for science. "How about if I get heads more than five times you can name any reasonable boon you desire?"

"Is she alright?" he asked, loudly enough to be heard by the drunk girl. Tallahar nodded slowly to Dany, "Yes I know what you mean." Whether that was an answer to the woman's question or the Knight was saying this more to himself was unclear. Just at the moment Edmure approached them, "Yes she is alright Brother. Come have you meet this fine woman." placing a hand on the younger mans shoulder, "Ser Edmure this is Lady Daenarys Stone." Tallahar thought that maybe she wasn't a lady but that didn't really matter to him.

"Pleasure." replied Edmure to Daenarys politely. "Edmure Blackfort." he said. "Apparently I'm the new Castellan of Harrenhal." he said in a self depreciating tone.

Tallahar's face broke into a large smile, "Excellent news brother. I had thought myself to ask Belric for the position of Master of Horse. With the war over and him now Lord of Harrenhal he is going to need all of the family to help."

Edmure nodded. "Without a doubt." he said. "I may have some say in who fills various positions. Belric I think would be favorable giving you your pick. He seems well disposed towards you. But I'll be sure to mention it to him." He smiled brightly at Daenarys.

"Thank you brother that pleases me greatly." Tallahar's face seemed to go thoughtful, "Did you know when Belric planned to leave for Harrenhal?"

Edmure shrugged and grinned. "Whenever his new bride tells him to. Pleasing the sister of the King so early in the marriage and his Lordship. will be our brother's priority."

Tallahar looked at Edmure like the man had suddenly grown wings and flown away, "You do speak of the same brother I ask you, Edmure. We both have spent far too much of our lives following his lead. I do not believe Belric Blackfort is going to down quietly to any woman."

Dany smiled at Edmure's news. "A castellan with the biggest castle in the land. Your brother must have a lot of faith in you. I confess, it is very easy to envy that trust if not the position itself."

"How about if I get heads more than five times you can name any reasonable boon you desire?" "Agreed. And now the kiss." To tease him, she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek, one feather-light kiss he could barely feel. It was, after all, a kiss of sorts.
