Character History: Born the bastard son of Bruce Blackfort and a serving wench, Jormun was raised on the philosophy that those who never strive will never achieve. A fairly average youth, Jormun spent a good deal of time in the training yards, but only found proficiency with the spear. Unable to compete with anybody around his age with a sword, Jormun quickly took to training on his own, both with spear and horse. Several years passed with his routine; attend to his duties, help his mother, and then ride out into the surrounding lands to train. As his skills grew further, Jormun's knowledge of the surrounding lands quickly surpassed men years his senior, and he grew a special interest in hunting. Although he went back to training in the yard with the others, he began viewing his ventures out of the castle as a valued reprieve. His interests soon focused on the spear and the forest, leaving his riding abilities stagnant and most of his training limited, although he picked up training with bows, and then crossbows, when he had the time. When the time came to ride to war, Jormun rode out with his siblings, although he spent much of the campaign seperated into a scouting regiment, hunting down the food needed to feed a marching army. When the time came for Belric to go scouting, Jormun was there as one of the most experienced scouts in the force, and fought alongside him when the Bloodraven was slain, firing back at the archers and then charging with his spear and shield. Happy to let the fame pass to somebody else, Jormun went back to his scouting duties afterwards. When the fires died down, Jormun joined his family once again to bask in his brother's glory, and the reward he had earned on his own- a small falcon hatchling, found on one of his hunts and now faithful companion for the last year and a half.
Physical Description: A man of average build compared to his siblings, Jormun bears brown hair and green eyes from his mother, as well as a cheery smile in most situations.
Reputation: Often mistaken for an outsider or recluse from his frequent trips away, Jormun is known as a jovial man who just happens to like the company of trees and silence as much as people and celebration by those who know him.
Boon:
Dream Team-Big game is hard to bring down alone. Jormun gets +5 to Fighting, Ranged, Animal Training, and Survival Rolls for each additional PC present with him on a hunt.
Curse:
FALCON PUNCH-Your falcon does not always play well with others.
