Edmure saw the mason Qhorin in the distance issuing instructions to his men. He turned at the sound of his name to see his cousin striding towards him. "Ben! I had not thought to see you at Harrenhal so soon, although I should have expected no less. But yes, I feel as if I'm back from the realms of the dead." Ser Willem, wearing his riding leathers with armour packed upon the back of his mount rode up to the small group led by Edmure. He did not dismount, as it was still painful to walk about on his foot. He sat silently, waiting for Edmure to conclude his conversation.

Out of the corner of his eye, Edmure saw Willem arrive. With a gesture he beckoned him over.
"Ben, meet Ser Willem Rivers. Willem, this is my cousin Ben....Benjen Blackfort."

Qhorin emerged from inside the castle, leading a group of rough handed men toward the gate. He'll take several measurements and talk to the men for a little bit before heading over to Edmure. To go on the surveying trip. (Fortifications 75 to start repair on gate) He manages to repair the man-sized with new logs free of charge.

"I picked up a few scars as well," Ben smiled, stretching the new scar on his cheek in the process, "But seems we Blackforts are a hard breed to kill."
Ben looked over at Willem on his horse. "Well met, Willem. Whose bastard are you?"

"Well met, Willem. Whose bastard are you?" "Well met," Willem nodded in way of greeting. "I regret that I am the bastard of Hoster." He looked less than thrilled to recount that piece of information.

Edmure couldn't help the grin that broke out on his face. "You know the old saying Willem...you can choose your friends but not your relatives." He thought of some of his immediate family. "I'm the last person that should be holding that against you."
He looked over to Qhorin, who still appeared to be discussing the gate with his workers and then glanced up at the position of the sun. "We should be on our way." he said to Willem.

(OOC: He already joined up with your guys in my only post here. Even if he hasn't said anything to a blackfort because, ya know, commoners not speaking unless spoken to crap.)

OOC: OK. Wasn't sure...as there was another conversation going on.
As Qhorin came over, Edmure nodded a greeting to him. He signalled to his men that it was time to go.

Yoren came forward from Harrenhal, coming to investigate what looked like a group of people while he had thought of going out to harrentown to see if he could help out. Coming across the gathering group, he couldn't help but raise a brow as he approached.
"Greetings...Welcome to Harrenhal..." He said to the new comers as he approaching, looking over to Edmure and Willis with a nod. "Hows it going?" He asked them in a friendly manner.

Having just swung into his saddle, Edmure looked across to Yoren as he approached them.
"Ser Yoren." he said by way of greeting.

Qhorin sat awkwardly on a mule. He wouldn't be able to gallop, or probably even canter. He'd do anything he could just to stay on the beast. He cracked his knuckles nervously as the group got ready to move out.

"Edmure." Yoren said with a nod of his head as he looked to the others, "Who are the new arrivals?" He asked curiously

"My cousin Benjen Blackfort." said Edmure, waving his hand at Benjen by way of introduction. "Qhorin here is our master mason." He didn't know any of the other new arrivals.

"Good to meet you both. I'm Yoren of Donnelwood." He said with a smile as he looked to Edmure, "Say, anything you need me to help lend a hand with?" He asked, looking to make himself useful around the castle.

Qhorin bows his head to Yoren "Ser" he says in greeting. He had no fucking idea who was or wasn't a knight around here, but it seemed like Knights were all popping out of the woodwork in this family. It was a safe bet.
