"No food to cook, no cleaning that needs done, and I've about as much use for embroidery as I do another bunion," the woman replied, tapping her fingers on the table for the silver stag before she'd relinquish her death grip on the goblet. She was honest at least, as the place was spotless, the old crone clearly doing much of the upkeep by her lonesome. "You must have a good memory in that case." said Edmure to the old woman, amused in spite of himself. "And you must have lacked a mother to teach you any manners," she grumbled.

Violet winced. "Please, I want to help. Is there nothing else that can be done? I don't want to sit here like a useless mouth. What about the other people in town? Are there any families that need a woman's aid?"
She reached out to hand over the coin, then touched the woman's hand gently. "I know you have no reason to love us, nor anyone highborn, but we were not so different from yourselves before the war. My father was the knight of the gate at Lord Harroway's Town but my mother was common born. I grew up in a house, not a castle."

(Forgot The Shitbucket She Crawled Out Of-Due to Violet's newly acquired noble mannerisms, she starts two disposition levels lower with individuals of lower status than her and suffers -10 to all social rolls against them. Roll Result: FAILED)
The woman grunted, clearly unimpressed and perhaps slightly insulted that Violet had dared compare her relatively comfortable life to that of a woman starving, with a dead daughter, a missing son in law, and a kidnapped grandson.
"I know Eustace, the old codger across the street, could use a woman's aid," the crone deadpanned. "Wife died twenty years ago and he's been trying to get up my skirts ever since."

"I could offer him my help," she said. "It would be better than doing nothing. Thank you. Is there anything else I need to know before I go?"
She sipped her drink, for courage.

The woman just stared, possibly shocked into silence that anyone was that naive. She pocketed the silver though.

Hoster snorted in disdain after Edmure left, he was still not over the boy approaching Lady Mandrake after their incident. He also was not very fond of people giving orders to his men, actually, he was especially not very fond of that. "Lil' prick..." Hoster muttered under his breath, taking a sip from his wineskin. His supply was almost over, he'd have to buy some more, but the prices here were abusive. "Ye wan' me ta teach 'im a less'n on respect?" He asked Belric. Belric considered his uncles words, however if anyone was going to discipline Edmure it would be Belric. "The boy has to learn his place, but to alienate him now would be a mistake. He is my brother, and I would not have him silenced. However, he must learn the proper time to voice his objections. If he returns with food, we will praise him for a job well done. Is that understood?" Belric looked to his uncle to make sure he comprehended the orders.

Violet drank the wine, thinking longingly of the better vintages they had at the Red Keep, before heading out into the street with a display of confidence she did not feel.

Hoster shrugged, not really bothered by not being allowed to give Edmure a beating, the boys time would come sooner or later. "Aye aye, m'lord." Hoster said with a genuine obeying nod.

Belric watched Violet walk out the front door, seemingly oblivious to the dangers women faced in war struck towns like this one. He looked to his uncle, jaw slackened by sheer stupidity of his sheltered sister. "Where the fuck does she think she's going?" Belric barked rhetorically to his uncle. "Follow her, and make sure she stayed out of trouble."

Belric looked around the room, taking note of the faces still present. "We wait for Edmure and the hunting party to return, empty handed or not we will make our way into Harrenhal at first light. I would have it known that I intend to treat with Ser Bruce, if he controls the bulk of the forces then it is he was must deal with first." Belric was confident, but not arrogant enough to think it was only his voice that held weight. "Does anyone have anything they would like to add? If we are to appear strong and united, we must be of one mind." He opened the floor for deliberation.

"Prioritising one of them makes the other look weak. It will make them hole up more resolutely and will cause the loss of yet more lives." Saesha commented, "if you speak to Ser Bruce, I will go to Ser Simon. We bring them both together and find a way to solve this peacefully. ,y brother said hang traitors, if they refuse to yield to their Lord, appointed by our King..." She let the rest fall with a simple shrug.

Percival listened intently while projecting a bored expression. He despised Lord Piggy greatly right now. The man was going to find a way to run everything. Percival decided that he was going to have to advise the man or all must be lost.
Percival stepped forward she bowed to the lady's wise words. "Though it would be wise to consider before hand who we need if your hand is forced. I think we need the Whent with the wheat. Those supplies are essential to be brought under your control, My Lady."

"I fear for Ser Simon, should he reject the offer of a dragon. Which of the men would you have accompany you? I would not have you go without a well armored entourage. These men have been infighting for weeks, who's to say if they will answer to reason."

"Reason or not he will answer to me, even if I am the last person he every does answer to," Saesha confirmed, no feigned confidence. She was the sister of the King, she'd been in sieges, and war camps for the last five years and it had given her a confidence and decisiveness to match either of her living brothers. "Whoever it is you wish to send with me, need to be able to control themselves."
