The character template is the same for Firsts and Seconds. A First must have blood relation to the noble ruling house, while a Second must be a servant of the house at the rank of Knight or below. If you see no family member positions you like, you may build a Second with the same rules as your First, but will only be allowed the single character.
Name:
Age:
Relation to Lord: Firsts Only
Position at Harrenhal: Required for Seconds, but potentially applicable for Firsts
Skills: Each First gets 550 points to delegate among the various abilities from the Skill section and may put a max of 80 into an ability, with one at 85. Each Second gets 400 points and may put a max of 75 into an ability, with one at 80.
Character History:
Physical Description: A picture somewhere in your profile will also suffice
Reputation: If Any
Boon: Every First gets an admin-controlled helpful special ability, which will be determined by character history. Leave it blank and one of us will fill it in.
Curse: Likewise, in fitting with the theme of the game, every First will also get an admin-controlled harmful special ability, which will be determined by character history. If you make a Mary Sue with no discernible flaws, I will make this hurt. On the other hand, if you would rather your Curse be tied to a secret flaw (a penchant for bestiality, for example) this can be arranged with the admins in private. Leave it blank and one of us will fill it in.

These are the abilities you have to choose from in character creation. There are no useless skills and we will be sure they each get their time to shine. Shield is now 30 points instead of 20, as it now allows you to roll your weapon skill against ranged attacks (except siege weapons) instead of agility. Please edit accordingly.

After a bit of play testing, I've removed Diplomacy as a skill because there was too much crossover with Persuasion. Please edit accordingly. Also, for commanders, since I haven't posted the warfare rules yet, know that either persuasion or intimidation can be rolled as a replacement for the rally skill we used in the past to prevent troops from breaking.

As folks are still playing around and learning the new social system and folks can now see all of their fellow PCs, we will be allowing the tweaking of character stats likely until the end of the wedding. I will inform you when this grace period has ended.

One last thing, I would like everyone to put their first's birthday on their sheet so we can celebrate name days if players so choose. It's a lunar calendar in Westeros, so for example, my birthday of July 23 would be the 23rd day of the 7th moon. Time will be fairly fluid in this game, sometimes taking days in RL to do a single IG day, like with the wedding. Other times we will skip months ahead at a time to represent lulls in the lordly life when nothing goes wrong at Harrenhal, rare as that may be. Still, if I see a name day coming up, I will always stop to ask if the lord and lady would like to throw a fetival, party, feast, tourney, great hunt, mummer's show, or something of that nature to commemorate the day.
