"did I say letters, I must have misspoken, my brother will convey my news to my other siblings. I am informing him of mine and Belrics' happy news," she explained, "as well as asking about his health,"

Percival bowed to her and walked to the raven for King's Landing and attached the letter. He walked to the large opening in the wall. He let the bird go and watched it fly south. He turned and smiled, "Your bright words are now winging south on black wings. I am sure he will be most pleased at your impending joy, as I can only assume you are."

"Who could be displeased with such news?" She asked with a smile.

"There are always those who lose no matter what action is taken. I assume the new heir will shuffle some uncle further away from the inheritance. Belric's many enemies obviously would prefer there to be no children to your marriage. It makes your house stronger." Percival smirked, makes the house a tadpole instead of an egg. "And I assumed that there would be concern about your baby resembling Lord Belric too closely. Or not resembling him at all. He is such a moronic oaf he might fly off into a rage for the child not looking exactly what he expects."

"My child is in the happy situation in which it's uncle is already dead, so no worry about making him lose face." Saesha replied, almost glad to have someone she did not have to be sad about Edmure around. He acted like a tool in life, and to her would be remembered as one in death.
"I am afraid a resemblance to Belric is not something I think I will be able to have the child avoid," she was not sure if he was implying anything, but she would not respond to it directly if he was. "I find my husband to be very Handsome, so it could be worse in that regard to, I believe are child has a good chance of breaking hearts."

"You should act quickly and find a name for your child or your lovely husband may try to attach Edmure's name to your own possible son." Percival replied with a polished neutral tone. "I was not concerned so much with your child being gifted Belric's looks but being gifted his uncontrollable rage, his mulish stubbornness or his goat-like wit."

"Well part of that will be nurture, I intend on my chilld having my disposition... but truly he is not so bad. I like to think I have him under control... and my son will never bare the name of Edmure. Not ever, I would like to name him something from my family line, as my husband has none. "

"Lord Goat is very much a different man around you then when you are absent. " The Maester replied,"Love or lust makes Belric almost pliable. When you are absent however things are far worse. He is the most stubborn man I have met."

"Being stubborn is not always a flaw," Saesha pointed out, "I am trying to make him less... prickly."

"That is a noble goal. While you are at it why not train my Ravens to not shit all over my Rookery." Percival replied and shook his head. "You see Belric has been an abrasive ass his entire life. And that quality has lead him from tending pigs to this." He motioned out to the rest of the keep and the surrounding lands. "No words of ours will change his ways when a whole life has vindicated every errant passion."

"There is truth in that, at least, but perhaps that is a lesson for us, not him?" She suggested.

"Yes there is. That is why I never expect him to listen to a thing I say. It is why I always belittle him when we converse. If he is not really going to listen to my words at least I will amuse myself." The Maester replied.

"And you think he does not listen to mine either?" She asked surprised.

"I think your words are the only words Belric gives any weight to. No doubt because of the strong emotions you arouse in him. You are the one who convinced him to not starve me to death." Percival replied. "And I thank you for that."

""He seems to see sense when it comes to the wellbeing of his child... speaking of which, shall we?" She suggested, clearly meaning the examination.
