Percival counted to twenty after she had left. Then he opened the letter and read it slowly.

(PM forwarded. Also, keep in mind that you got 5 ravens during the TJ so I need a list of the 5 castles you trained them to go to. I'll roll each month to see how many more you hatched and trained, so you can slowly expand.)

After he had finished reading the letter he mailed it to Lord Roote.

///////////////// 27th of the 2nd moon
Belric goes looking for the Maester in the rookery.

Percival is wearing breeches and a loose shirt. He is sketching the view from the rookery into a large journal. He did not turn around to see who is here now.

"Maester," Belric said, not caring if he was interrupting. "I need you to send this letter to Lord Tully."
Belric held up the folded parchment, sealed by wax, marked with the Blackfort sigil. It told Medgar to prepare for Belric's arrival, stating he intended to leave Harrenhal within the week. It was written to be direct, Belric's never having been an eloquent writer.

Percival turned around and looked at Lord Piggy. He sighed with a long deep breath. He bowed his head once. "Of course. I shall send the raven at once." He slowly placed the bit of charcoal he was using to sketch into the journal. He placed the book down on the ledge of the wall. He walked over to the bird sent by the Tully's. He got it out of its cage. He petted the birds head. "Anything else?" He despised the man, and his odor made Percival shiver.

"Has anyone else been sending or receiving ravens?" Belric had spent a lot of time living in a bog. If he did indeed smell, it was not an odor he noticed.

Percival looked up and raised an eyebrow and then answered in a sarcastic voice, "Perhaps you do not recall, but I was not present for several days." He smirked at Berlic, and moved closer to him. "The only one who stopped by to visit was your sister." He kept petting the bird and glanced down at Belric's hand.

"That seem's very unlike you, Maester. I'd never think you to be one to miss your duties. It must have been something important that held you up." Belric knew Percival was referencing his time spent in the dungeons, but if the Maester could play snide, so could Belric. "What did my sister want?"

Percival nodded slowly and said, "I will not be able to send your message unless you hand it to me." He had moved quite close to Lord Belric, but dared not take it from him if he was feeling punchy. "She asked me to send a raven for her. To Harroway's town as I recall." He held out his hand for the message.

Belric glared at Percival, but he handed over the letter nevertheless. "What were the contents of her letter, and to whom was it addressed?"

Percival attached the letter deftly to the leg of the Tully raven. "It was to Lord Roote. And your sister did not let me read her missive. You will have to inquire of her what the letter said." He turned his back on Belric and walked to the window. He stared out at the sky and thought about the weather. Ravens or at least their messages were often lost during bad weather.

Belric nodded his understanding, though he doubted the Maester ever sent a letter without reading it's contents. "Very well."
He turned to walk out the door, but thought better of it for a moment. "I wanted to thank you for saving my uncle's life, as well as Dacey and Willis. Despite the discord between us, you have proven yourself trustworthy." The words were not easy for Belric to say, he had a hard time admitting when he was wrong. The strain was apparent in his voice, but he spoke his appreciations anyway.
