20th day, 3rd moon Osmynd Goodbrook's name was not unknown to the Blackforts. A fierce competitor at tourneys in peacetime, his mace was a regular site in the melee, and had bowed Ser Bruce at least once in their youth. He was said to be of surly temperament, unforgiving in matters of personal honor, and remorseless in battle. For four years, he had held back Bracken forces with his own will and the most ruthless archers outside the Raven's Teeth, as well as a few veterans of the same company. Belric could recall Edmure in turn recalling Harys Bracken wishing that if any adversary could fall dead in his saddle of a burst heart, it would be Seth Blackwood for hate's sake, then Medgar Tully for honor's sake, and then Osmynd Goodbrook for blood's sake. The Goodbrook party, according to reports, consisted of thirty people on horse, including various knights bearing their own colors, and the truth, for once, had been diminished and not enhanced by gossip. Indeed, there were thirty riders, and indeed, there were clearly knights among that number. But trailing beside the riders were squires, pages, and what was very clearly some sort of band of performers, whose trumpeters was heard long before they were seen. The most renowned killer among old House Lothston's surviving vassals (Precluding Ser Simon Whent himself) was apparently expecting a feast in his honor. Maybe even a tourney, judging by the fact he had clearly had his armor shined for the occasion. House Blackfort has ample opportunity to prepare their own greeting before they reach the gates of Harrentown.

Dacey and a handful of guards escorted Lord Goodbrook to Harrenhal by evening of the same day. She'd sent a rider to the castle roughly an hour before their arrival to notify Belric and his wife.
Stiff from spending the better part of the day in saddle and tired of small talk, she was rather relieved to be back and ready to throw the Goodbrooks into someone else's pile of responsibilities.

While waiting for Goodbrook to ride up, Saesha stood with Ser Simon awaiting his arrival.
"Ser Simon, you must have had many dealing's with Lord Osmyn." She enquired, she felt a little nauseous but was keeping on a straight face. She'd been grateful that Dacey had stated preparations in her absence, less to do when she got back and was ill... yes... ill.

Whent stood beside Saesha, her grim shadow in his black plate, his helm under the crook of his arm and the other ever present near the hilt of his sword.
"Lord Goodbrook is an honorable man, a proficient warrior, a fine leader, and a true vassal," he replied, genuine praise from the usually critical knight, though for some that likely would have been cause for concern in itself. "Most maesters will likely give credit to the the Blackwoods for harrying Bracken and preventing him from bringing his forces to bear in the east for most of the war, but Lord Osmynd held the line time and time again,"
"I can prepare you a mixture of warm water, mint and ginger if you are still feeling unwell," he offered, stoic marble-like countenance cracking for a moment as he looked at her with concern. Clearly he had done so in mornings past with Lady Danelle.

Belric waited with his wife and the rest of the welcoming party. It was far from a royal welcome, but it was a welcome none the less. Harrenhal's resources were all but spent, therefore Lord Goodbrook would have to be happy without a parade. However, Belric had been sure to enlist the help of Harrentown's prettiest serving girls to be ready on hand with food and drink. In compliance, the Great Hall had been prepared for a moderate feast, and Lord Blackfort had even found a local lute player to perform durning the festivities.
Belric watched Ser Simon whisper speak with Saesha, his lip curing in disgust. He had not grown the like the man, time did little to ease the tension in his gut. Belric wondered how much longer this man had to live. Surely someone from Harrentown was bold enough to kill this serpent and take the black.

Saesha nodded as the Knight spoke, "That is good information," Saesha commended looking forward still. No one else liked Simon, but Saesha found him more useful than most of her husband's family. Did she like that he'd helped murder children? No. but he'd won a trial by combat and at least she could be certain of his loyalty. "Was his allegiance to Lady Lothston or to Harrenhal? "

"At the time, were they not one and the same?" Simon inquired. "He served her father, and grandfather loyally long before Lady Danelle ruled. As did I."

"It was that sort of thinking which caused the war in the first place," he remarked. "Do you serve the throne or do you serve the king?"

"Exactly," saesha replied, "which is why it's important to know which applies to whom. Some also have no loyalty to either, and act only for what serves their own interests at the time,"

"Such men should not be suffered to live," Whent replied grimly. "And Lord Goodbrook does not number among them."

Saesha found it ironic, that that was exactly what his lost love had done, which had been the point of her remark, but she was glad he'd not picked up on it, she'd regretted it as soon as she'd said it, it served nothing to drag lady lothston through the mud in front of ser Simon. "I am glad of it, I trust he'll be a staunch supporter."

Yesult is around during the arrival doing handmaidenly things for Saesha and helping out with the serving for the main table as part of her duties.
Yesult would have made sure there is a small one person sized tea pot and a cup ready for Saesha when she wishes a drink. Inside would be a mild herbal tea with general stomach soothing properties as shes concerned for her mistresses well being.. and vomiting is never nice.

"If war makes strange bedfellows, then peace makes for unexpected enemies."

Jormun is there, sitting on his horse, off to the side. He actually had no reason to be here, but he was bored, so he was. A night of drinking had left him groggy and confused, so he couldn't remember what events had come to pass or what he had dreamed, or if they were even expecting an arrival. Maybe there wasn't even a visitor, and he was just awkwardly sitting there as they had a conversation.
Yeah, it was probably that.
Cool.
