My home game just recently went on hiatus because two of my players just had a baby. Stupid baby. I am contemplating trying to run a D&D 5ed game via forum. I am just going to use my home brew campaign world as I have it mostly written up.
Is anyone interested in playing in that? You don't really need to worry about the rules. I will handle that for you if rules aren't your thing. Though the rules are available if you do like that kind of thing. I have a free app on my phone that can help anyone make a D&D character.
So who would want to play?

Yes, please. I have never played "proper" D and D and I would love to give it a go.

Have been wanting to try out the 5e warlock, so I'll go with that.

This is enough people for me to move forward. Obviously I can take some more people. And if you know what race and class you want to be please tell me. I will be using all the standard races and classes.
Races: Dwarf, Elf, Halfling, Human, Dragonborn, Gnome, Half-Elf, Half-Orc or Tiefling.
Classes: Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Druid, Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Sorcerer, Warlock or Wizard.
If you want to customize your race or class let me know and I will consider it. There are optional races and classes on the internet and I will consider any thoughts you guys have.

I have the phone app as well and actually wrote up a warlock months ago for whenever my next D&D was, so this is perfect. Are we using point buy?
Race: Human (Variant) Class: Warlock (Great Old One) Background: Guild Artisan Feat: Alert

May I ask which classes are best suited to each race?

I wanted to be a Warlock but I'll be a Sorcerer instead now.

May I ask which classes are best suited to each race? All the races Marie get bonuses to their abilities which directly correlate with each class but there really is no race that bars you from a class. Zack I probably am going to use the point system. I just want to glance at it again. It is in the Player's handbook right? I remember it being there but I have found that I often accidently think I read a rule in the Fifth edition handbook and it turns out I am thinking of AD&D or 3rd.

I remember that on Skyrim, Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights certain races were better suited to some classes than others!
