Harlan looked from Vex to Donal, “She make’s a good point. Four against four is too fair of a fight in my opinion, it’d be smarter to overwhelm them with our numbers. And if there is as much gold as Longinch thought, we will need the manpower just to move the loot.”
He smiled at Vex, appreciative of her willingness to share her ride. Harlan had never master horsemanship himself, but he could hold on well enough. “Don’t mind if I do, m’lady.” He replied.
Taking her hand, he pulled himself up onto the backend of her horse. He feigned a fair bit of difficulty, acting as though he was falling off. Then, to catch himself, he slid his arms around her torso and grabbed firmly to her breasts. Harlan never liked to waste an opportunity.

"One of you lot willin ta give an old man a ride?" Bandy asked, looking to the horses wearily as he said it. He didn't much have luck with Horses, But if it came down to it, he'd ride one and hope for the best regardless.

Possibly anticipating the gropefest he surely had in mind, Vex observed Harlan's antics and deftly slipped back in her saddle as he was boarding the horse, leaving him no chance but to take the front seat instead. Once he was presumably in place, she slid her arms around him and reached forward to reclaim the reins, pushing against his back in the process.

There were some good points being made about taking Bandy along that Donal didn't think it would look good to argue against. Instead he tried to act as if the decision was his, and the idea had been Harlan's not Vex's. "That is a good point, Harlan. I'll cede to your wisdom." He said.
Then he looked to Bandy. "We can ride together. You're bigger than I so I'd best go at the front."

Meanwhile, Tim waited by the secret entrance in the cellars for signs of the others arriving, ready to wave them over when they appeared.

Barley assumed those on horse could keep an eye out for the road and arrived by the cellar and looked around for any kind of boat.

Hearing footsteps, Tim moved away from the secret entrance and advanced further into the cellar. Spotting Barley, he waved to her.
"Ho, Barley. Where are the others? We need to be gettin' out o' this bloody place. Got everythin' you're takin'?"

“Yep,” Barley said, “I say we leave in ten minutes, if the rest are ready or not, where is this famous boat I hav3 heard so much about?”

"Just this way. The secret door's by the wheel, an' leads onto the river. All this time an' I never knew it was 'ere."
He showed her where the door was, concealed behind the wheel.
"We'll wait a few minutes, but you're right. We can't wait much longer. Seven hells, this reminds me o' the time I got drunk in a tavern near on the Green Fork and had to flee by boat after I robbed a knight with two fish on his surcoat. Surly fellow, chewed sourleaf. I got 'is coin though, and a sweet bottle o' Arbor Gold. Damned fellow sent his dog after me, but the bloody thing couldn't keep up wi' me boat. I ditched the boat later and used the oars for firewood."
As ever, Tim took refuge in his stories. The more he told a tale, the more he believed the outlandish elements, and every telling was embellished until, sometimes, the story bore little resemblance to the original incident.

Barley listened to the story with a face that told him exactly what she thought of it.
“You’ve lead quite the life, Tim” she said, excited to leave the others behind as she headed to the boat to get the best, namely safest, seat,

He worked to get on the horse, careful of his own spacing with Donal's, and a bit glad he'd have someone else to make sure that maybe this one didn't end up tossing him like a sack of flour.

Once mounted, Donal called out to the others. "Pete you can burn the mill. We will meet you all downriver with the gold!" Then he led the mounted group out in the direction of where Longinch hung.

If the mounted party was actually going to go loot Longinch's armor, Vex was going to stay far behind once the tree was well in sight, to keep watch and such.

Rather than following the river and their compatriots on the boat (which was heading in the same direction as the farm), the mounted group follows the trail towards the village's common road, where Longinch swings from a tree, his face now looking notably more worse for wear as ravens took chunks out of the fresh meal. As they approach, they also notice there are now a half-dozen chainmail-clad Medway guardmen from the local village milling about, their horses tied up to nearby trees. A man in leathers with a shortbow, likely the village's local huntsman, seems to be looking for tracks.
