It was only roughly three miles from the clearing to the farm, so it didn't take long for Alyn to catch up to the others. Once he was sure he wasn't being pursued from the clearing, he had decided to wear his newly acquired armor, as he figured if it came to another fight it would serve as extra protection. There had been a short stop to buckle himself into it, reflecting that as he did so that this was the first time he had worn anything but his old stained leather armor since his father's death.
As he approached the farm Alyn dismounted to locate the others and to scope out the farm. He could see that the farmhouse was two stories of study wood near the river The earth surrounding it was scorched and there were only two sickly cows to be seen. He wondered where Bael and his sons were.

Some time after Alyn's arrival, Donal rode up slowly so as to not draw attention. He was bleeding fairly profusely from the right side of his face, where his ear had formerly been hurt like hell and he could feel blood drying in his hair around it, and there was even more blood all over him courtesy of Bandy's wounds.
He dismounted and tried to sneak around the outskirts of the farm without attracting attention, looking to see if any of the others had taken advantage of the diversion he had boldly created to get here unmolested.

From his own position on the outskirts of the farm, Alyn saw Donal approaching and signalled him to join him.

Spotting Alyn after a moment, Donal led his mount over toward him on foot. "Bandy did not escape." Donal informed him once he reached Alyn's position. "I bested their leader and wounded another gravely, but there were too many, and they cut Bandy apart."

Alyn cursed softly at the news of Bandy's death. "That's a loss." he said somewhat regretfully. "I wonder if getting this..."he tapped the plate armor he was wearing. "..was worth it."

Donal looked somewhat sad, but was clearly trying to put a positive spin on the situation. "Getting the armor was the right decision." He replied. "We showed those bastards that they might have hung longinch but that won't stop us from challenging their rule. You stealing the armor back not three bells after he'd been hanging there is a real blow to their so called authority and justice. Not to mention how useful having good armor is."
He looked back in the direction of where Bandy had probably been slain. "As for the rest we could not know they would have the good fortune of being there and spotting us before we could get out of sight."

Alyn nodded. "What's done is done. Bandy knew the risks of our situation. As we all do."
He looked at Donal's face with a mixture of concern and amusement. "You appear to be missing an ear. Unfortunately that makes you more recognizable."

Donal nodded at Alyn's comments about the risks of the situation. "He died with a blade in his hand fighting the lord's servants. There is no shame in such a death." He declined to mention he had opted to ride away from it.
Donal nodded. "The fighting was fierce, but I gave those whoresons worse than I got. And I welcome recognition. It's time the Riverlands learned who Donal Beake is."
He felt at his ear, or where it had been. "Perhaps I should get someone to bandage the wound when we find the others." He allowed.

"Donal One-Ear." Alyn said wryly. He didn't agree with Donal wanting to be recognized. He preferred to move around largely incognito. Made things easier in his quest to bring as much death and destruction to the Brackens and their bannermen as possible.
"So what now?" he asked. "Seen the others?"

"Vex and Harlan? No not yet. But they should be here-all the guards chased me." Donal replied, oblivious to the fact his orders had been ignored and it was not solely Harlan and Vex, but also all the others in the gang who were likely nearby. "Perhaps we should look for them?"

He can see at least one hound near the back door and a single horse near the entrance. There is nothing peculiar about the barn. He sees the rest of the gang not far from a great willow tree.

As soon as the words were out of his mouth to Donal, Alyn spied the rest of the gang under a large willow tree.
He nudged Donal and pointed to them. "Over there."

Donal glanced over where Alyn was pointing."What are they doing here? I told them to meet us downriver."

Alyn shrugged in response. "You put Daven in charge. He must have decided something different." He rose and grabbing the reins of his horse, began moving towards the rest of the group, careful to keep out of sight of the farmhouse as much as possible.

Stealth: 60 Stealth 81 It takes little difficulty to avoid the farmhouse itself, and after a few slow moments the pair manage to rejoin their comrades without alarming the hounds nearby.
