Daven scowled at both Alyn and Donal, "If they are coming this way, be it in a candle mark or a even by the end of the night. This isn't worth it. You both can stay here and deal with the guards when they come. If you want to rob the place and get caught, it's your own noose. I'm out." He says following Tim and Barley.

Alyn didn't care much whether they robbed the farmhouse or not but the decision to not do so seemed to have been made. They didn't have the numbers and he didn't fancy only two of them against at least four men plus dogs, plate armor or not.
"It looks like Old Man Bael has a reprieve." said Alyn with a thin smile.

"Could come back another day, when the 'eat's died down," Tim said. "I want me a look at that ''ouse, I don't deny it, but the lass is right. We ain't gettin' nowhere if we're fightin' amongst ourselves. Seems like we need us a proper leader."

"Let's go" Barley said, not bothering sparing a glance at Donal. He was wrong about one thing, she did't think he was an idiot, in her mind it was already confirmed.

"I didn't just get my fucking ear cut off to not do this job." Donal spat. "Ser Alyn killed three guards. I threw the guard captain off a horse and gravely wounded another. Even if this lord has a limitless supply of guards to send after us, which he doesn't, I highly doubt they will be able to find my horse's tracks on the main fucking road before we are done here. No you lot can run off tails between your legs-piss all over your breeches if you want, but why even come here in the first place then? Me, I'm waiting right here for vex and Harlan to show their faces. Then we will take this coin if none of you want it."

"No one made you go get ill fitting armour for Alyn. It was stupid and reckless and I am sure Bandy is really sorry about your ear." She said, and got in the boat. "let's go." she repeated and when all who were in the boat were coming she helped push it off.

"From what I can tell over here, is that you got your ear cut off and led Bandy to his death, so that Alyn can have his plate. Then led a giant parade of guardsmen and maybe worse following along after us." Daven says looking over his shoulder, "Especially if you did kill a couple of them. They will just regroup and hunt us down. I like trees, but not when I'm hanging by my neck from one." As he got in the boat.

Donal stood where he was, with a scowl on his face, and watched Barley and her group go before taking stock of who (if anyone) remained with him.

Alyn looked down at his armor in mock surprise at Barley's comment . "Actually I think it fits quite well. Snug. And worth a pretty penny might I add."
He shook his head at Daven's comments. "They were hunting us down when Longinch was our leader. Why do you think he ended up where he did? I fail to see much difference now."
Alyn looked across at Donal. There was no way he was taking his horse in a boat. The choice looked like it was already made for him.
"Looks like I'm staying." he remarked wryly. "I would counsel against hitting the farmhouse though, with just the two of us. Wait until Vex and Harlan turn up. Take stock then."

Donal nodded at Alyn's comments to those parting.
"Agreed. I'd rather not lose a second ear tonight." Donal replied. "Still, no harm scouting about while we wait?"

Pete spits in the ground near Donal and follows Barley.

Tim followed Barley as well, largely because he saw no positive outcome from remaining beside Donal in the current circumstances.

Donal nodded at Alyn's comments to those parting. "Agreed. I'd rather not lose a second ear tonight." Donal replied. "Still, no harm scouting about while we wait?" Alyn nodded. "If we are being pursued by Lychester's men, then some prior warning of their approach would be handy." He looked after the rest of the gang as they moved towards their boat. "What do they hope to achieve?" he asked somewhat rhetorically to Donal. "They get in their boat, they go to their meeting place, they elect a leader. And then? Down two...maybe four gang members and no horses. There's something in the old adage about strength in numbers."

"And short any coin to boot." Donal said nodding, utterly unaware Barley had acquired some in the mill. "Not that I'd follow any of that lot anyway. A whinging wench, a foolish liar, a man who'd probably sooner stick his pecker in a fire than a woman, and a man so dumb he couldn't figure out where he was supposed to take the boat to begin with. None of them have the balls to even rob a murderous old farmer, and stranger take me if I share the coin from our effort with a group too afraid to put their own necks on the line for our cause."
He glanced about their surroundings. "Should we find somewhere to hide the horses while we wait, in case Lychester's guards try to search for us?"

Pete flipped Donal off from the boat as a farewell gesture.
"Now boss..." Pete said, smiling creepily at Barley. "Where we goin'?"
