After waiting with Barkey for a bit, Daven stands. “I’m gonna go check on the wayward babes, make sure we aren’t waiting for nothing.” He says walking off into the distance.

“Who even cares?” Barley called after him and ate her berries, but after a while of contemplation, she decides she liked Vex, and Daven, and Pete was like an adorable if insane pet.she couldn’t abandon them to pure lunacy. She got into the boat and sailed to the farm side of the river and headed up the bank, hoping to come at the farm from the side rather than by the river, to scope the place out.

Idiot Daven once back on the islet sits down and uses a driftwood log to lean back on. He casually rubs his bandaged leg a bit with a small frown on his face.

Tim sat on the ground cleaning blood off his spear. As he worked, he glanced up at the others.
"Don't think we should stay 'ere. Need to find new 'ome, now. May'aps near a town, cos we'll be needin' to sell our loot as well."

Happy to have made it off the farm with his life, Harlan sat down with the rest of his companions to enjoy some much needed rest. He reflected for a time on the lost companions, Pete, Donal, and Bandy, and the months they had spent together. It was hard to call them "friends," since the life of a bandit couldn't afford such luxuries, yet they were the closest thing he knew. Then his thought's turned dark and he could only see the monstrous troll. It stood above him, shrieking while shaking a fistful of human flesh wildly in it's fist.
He came back to reality when Tim spoke up, happy to have his thoughts interrupted. "I agree," he added when Tim finished. "I know a fence in Lord Harroway's Town, isn't but a short trip down river. We can trade in what we have for coin, and possibly scrounge up another job."

"Sounds good t'me," Tim replied. "Think we should stay away from farms for a bit. But what we gonna do about a leader now Donal's gone?"
He looked around at the others.

Having cleaned all the grime and blood from his sets of armor, his spare sets now tied securely to his horse, Alyn had his lute out and was gently strumming it, as he relaxed against one of the few trees on the island.
He looked up and shrugged at Tim's question about a leader. By far the most notorious of them all, he was happy to remain mostly in the shadows in the pursuit of his vendetta against the Brackens. The talk of towns made him nervous. There were too many people in a town that could recognise him and the sense of being trapped within its walls was also not one he enjoyed all that much.

"Sounds good t'me," Tim replied. "Think we should stay away from farms for a bit. But what we gonna do about a leader now Donal's gone?" He looked around at the others. Harlan laughed, "If I never step foot in another barn, it will be too soon." He relaxed a little bit, growing tired as the thrill of the fight left him. "Considering all the fortune befalling our recent leaders, forgive me for leaving my finger out of the pot. Seems to me like the lot of us are destined to be leaderless. Though I don't see why that doesn't mean we can't be diplomatic about our thievery." He looked around at the rest of the gang, "Any one of us is free to head our own way, but I say, from this point forward, we work together and share the spoils." "I'm willing to start," he said, Harlan tossing the sword, golden necklace, and the fine coin purse into the center of their sloppy circle. "Cough up your loot. We turn it all in to the fence in Harroway, and we split it evenly. Considering there are four less mouths to feed, there's nothing to complain about."

Tim put the loot he'd gathered into the pile, except for the mail, which lay folded beside hiim.
"I'm keepin' this," he said, patting the item. "I'm for workin' t'gether, too, 'cept I think we ain't gonna live for long without a leader. A kingdom don't work without the kingto rule it, and we ain't gonna work without a leader. I never liked ole Longinch, but he kept us t'gether. That boy Donal meant well but 'e drove us apart."

“Maybe you all shouldn’t have made him our leader then” Barley said, as she arrived, Vex in tow. “But that doesn’t matter now.” Barley had claimed Donals horse, he didn’t need it.

"Seemed like he wanted it," Tim muttered. "An' someone 'as to lead. Might as well split up, otherwise."

"Why don't you lead, Tim?" Harlan interjected. "You want to be King of the Bandits?"

Tim stared at Harlan in shock, and almost cut his hand on the point of his spear.
"Me? Leader? I knows 'ow to tell a good tale, an' I can fight good enough, but...I ain't no knight or nothin'. In all the stories I know, the bandits are led by knights an' such, jen wi' big bames an' all."
Although, it did have a fine ring to it, Tim of Raventree, leader of the best bandit group in the Riverlands. He hadn't ever thought of it, before now, most of the time he only thought about necessities like food and ale and women, and when he'd next get to tell a fine tale, yet someone had to lead and if Harlan wouldn't, who else was there? Alyn had helped Donal kill Pete and Daven had never shown interest in taking a leading role. Vex was fierce and Barley cunning yet Tim had never heard of a gang of bandits led by a woman. But the prospect was both thrilling and frightening.
"Might be I could do it," he said. "Does anyone want to lead?" He looked around at the others.

“You’ve done nothing but be indecisive” Barley said, not even looking at Tim, “you come with me, then head back immediateky, and even now you “might” be able to lead? Indecision and then bad decisions seems a storm a coming” Barley said, looking at him now, “no offence,”
