Tim reached for his spear and stood beside Vex. He felt both sick and angry at the turn things were taking...again.
"Seems to me those o' us from th' ole gang agreed ye would lead us for the next job. I'm with yer, lass. Besides, I want the gold."

"You lot should seat your bloody arses down and stop bickering." Boros said, rising up and setting himself between the two groups that had been forming. If those two left, the plan would likely fail and he'd never again have the opportunity to see that much money. "Like it or not, we are in this this shit together now, we have to shovel it together if we want our part of that gold."
"Captain Vex, I wasn't very much into the Tavern plan originally, but you're the boss and I will follow you. Nonetheless, Richard has a point, so we might discuss it without resorting to killing eachother. We are bandits, not Dothraki." Boros said while looking directly into her eyes, he thought better than to call her out on the knife throwing thing right there on the open, that would have to wait. He then he turned to the knight.
"You, Sir, I have no idea who or what you are, but you seem like someone who knows what he is doing, thus the reluctance to take part in such an unusual plan. But as out other fellows said, if you leave now you'll not only cross the Ferrymen and put a giant red Target on your back, but you will also miss your share of the 1200 dragons. Do you have any fucking idea how hard it is to come by that much money? Very fucking much. And trust me, I was rich once."
"Now I propose, we sit back down. We finish our meal. Which is not half as bad as Richard claims it is." Boros said gently, giving the Knight a faint smile. "And then let us agree on something. We don't have to be friends, we just have to get that gold, then we can all go on our own merry ways."

As soon as Vex and Tim moved to block off the horses the die were cast, so far as Richard was concerned. He had offered the group a way out in which nobody got hurt in the immediate future, until he had the chance to track down Vex and kill her when the odds were more suitable. Now, the fight had been forced on them. Richard knew Vex's move for what it was. It was the move of a hunter, cornering her prey. He had made it many times himself. But Vex would learn this prey had sharper teeth than she bargained for.
"Get behind me, and draw your weapon." He hissed at Daven. "If either of them moves toward us, make it their last step." He knew he was setting himself up for a potential betrayal, but with things shaping up as they were, he had no choice but to trust the bowman.
It was evident at this point to Richard that Vex did not let them intend to leave alive. He supposed he wouldn't either if he were in her shoes, although he would not be because he did not go around throwing knives at his comrades for no reason. All that remained to be decided was on which side the others would fight, if they chose to enter the frey. Intimidation had not worked, so Richard turned to his rusty amicable side to try to turn the odds in his favour.
"What are you doing with her?" He called to Tim. "You voiced your opposition to her plan repeatedly. Called it for the shit it was. Are you man enough to fight for a plan that you know gives you a better chance to live, or did she take your balls with that knife of hers before we met?"
Then he glanced over to Boros. "You said you were new to this. Might be you're lying, might be you aren't. If it's the latter here's some advice for you. Don't fight for a leader who casually murders her men. Isn't good for your longevity, nor is it good for getting the jobs done. Gold is nice, but living is nicer."
Adding to that point, he turned his eyes back to Vex and Tim, but spoke to the assembled others. "I'm willing to do the Tavern plan. Always was. Was just pointing out it's shit and we have a better chance of living and getting the gold you all want if we do it my way. But if you want the Tavern, I'll do it. Seven Hells, I'll even give you my share of the coin to divide among yourselves if you stand with me. I'm not in this for the money. But she wants me dead, and at this point she's given me no choice but to kill her. So you've got to ask yourselves who you'd rather do this job with; the best damn shot in your gang, and a knight who has killed two knights at once and emerged with nary a scratch, or a crazy whore your old leader thought was best suited to tending to his spear and a coward?"
He very much hoped the information Daven had given him about himself and Vex was accurate or this might go poorly.

" I've balls enough t'want t'do this job," Tim snapped. He gripped his spear hard, tensing as he mentally readied himself for the fight that seemed to be coming.
"I don't like the plan, never did, but we agreed that Vex would lead us, an' 'tis 'er job as leader ter decide what we do next. She told us what she wanted us ter do. If you 'adn't argued wi' Vex, we'd be a step further in plannin' the job right now. I don't know yer, and y'don't know me, nor any o' us. Why would I trust yer thoughts o'er 'ers? Vex 'as been part of our group for longer'n me. If she were a fool she'd be long dead."
He paused for breath.
"But y'know what? I'm bloody well sick o' all the fightin' amongst ourselves. We're all gonna end up dead by week's end at this rate, and I don't wanna end up dead. All I bloody want is for us to stop bloody fightin' an' start plannin' for good. I want that gold, an' I wanna live like a lord for a while. What's between you an' Vex, I'd as soon as 'ave nothin' ter do wi' it, but they'll be none o' us to take th'gold if we get into a fight."

"The way I see it, the only thing actually stopping us from pulling this job is your yapping," said Vex after Richard's exhausting round of Trumpesque rhetorics. She gripped her spear, her eye fixed on him. "You are a dog and you will die like one." With that, she rushed forward to plant her spear in his chest.

From behind the tall armored man, Daven pulls out an arrow and nocks it, aiming at the charging woman he lets it loose in an attempt to stop her momentum.

Richard ducked as soon as Vex moved, hoping to give Daven as clear a shot as possible at the insane woman. Once the shot passed over him, he sprung up toward Vex, intent on keeping her away from the archer.
(Chain Armor, Maces/Hammers (+5 Against Plate) 75, Light Wound for -5, Tool of the Trade: Richard's hammer ignores the damage reduction bonuses of chain and plate mail, as well as granting a +5 to attack rolls)

Tim began to wonder if it mattered who actually won the fight between Vex and Richard. He thought Vex had deserved her chance to be leader, yet if she was worthy, Richard would soon be dead. After all, only the strong survived. Yet he misliked Daven turning on their old comrade and felt compelled to keep the archer out of it as far as possible.
Taking advantage of Richard's focus on Vex, Tim circled around the knight and swept his spear at Daven's legs, attempting to trip him up. It wasn't honourable, but neither was banditry, and Tim had never cared about honour anyway.

Harlan face palms so hard he nearly knocks himself unconscious, the last thing he had wanted was another fight. However, this was out of his hands.
He drew his knife, and positioned himself next to Vex and Tim.
“You brought this on yourself,” he says, somewhat sympathetically.

“Daven” Barley said with a sigh, shaking her head at him, “stand down while you can” she frowned as the arrow loosed abd shook her head again. She didn’t move to join either side, and took several steps back to remove herself. Whoever won, they’d want healing

Boros sighed and took a step back to join Barley. With all the commotion his pups jumped to their feet and started growling towards the combatants. He whistled, calling them to step back with him.
He decided knew neither of those people well enough to be willing to kill the other one for them. It was a sad thing to see, life being wasted in such a way. Maybe one of them actually deserved to die for all the horrible crimes they had committed in their lives, but he doubted it should fall upon his shoulders to choose.
"Is it always like this to work in a group? All the squabbling and steel drawing?" He asked the smaller lady nonchalantly, not very amused by the scene unfolding before him. "Sounds like a fun life to live, uh?!"

“Well, Dimon did say Vex was in charge” Barley said, frowning and crossing her arms, “did you ever wonder how we lost Half of our old crew?” She asked him rhetorically.
She’d miss Daven, if it went the opposite way, but Richard could go straight to the seven hells.

To Sigfry, snap decisions like this were ones of practicality. Yes, Richard was indeed a knight, and a mighty arrogant one at that if his brief time together could show. He reminded him a bit of his brother, and he hated his brother exactly for that reason, the feeling that he deserved anything due to his birth. Once Sigfry would have thought much the same, and probably would have stood alongside the man.
But that was a family ago, and an arm ago, and Sigfry knew that being a knight didn't mean much in this world except to other knights and lords. What sigfry did know was intent, Richard wanted to leave, and Vex wanted to stay. He didn't trust either of them now, but in Sigfry's eyes, there was only one truth.
"Sorry Ser Richard, but no witnesses allowed." The Wolf's Head said as he dashed forward, aiming to draw his sword as he did but rather then lead with it, lashed out with his hook to try and sink it into some of the flesh of Richard's neck or face, to drag the man off balance, before aiming to run his sword into the man's chest to hopefully end this quickly.
(-One Handed Swords: 80, Off-Hand Weapon: 25, Armor: 105, Agility: 65, Strength: 25, Tool of the Trade: With his iron prosthetic, Sigfry receives both a permanent Off Hand Weapon and the ability to attack twice in one round with a -20 penalty.)

Ranged:
Daven loosed his finely crafted arrow at the charging Vex, aiming straight for the heart. The one eyed woman moved with uncanny situational awareness, averting the fatal shot to the chest, instead taking the arrow to the shoulder. At such close range, the arrow sank deep, its razor sharp heading pushing clear out the other side. Though undoubtedly painful, if she survived, it would at least make the medic's job of removing the projectile easier. (Vex takes a Medium wound for -15. Vex gains +3 Agility)
Daven vs Tim:
As Tim circled around to attack the bowman, Daven caught sight of him out of the corner his eye. As Tim swung the spear, attempting to sweep the leg, Daven nimbly leapt over it, drawing his dagger as he landed. (No wounds. Daven gains +2 Small Blades)
Richard vs The Rest:
Ser Richard may have prevailed against two knights at once, but that in no way prepared him for being set upon by three cutthroats. Though Vex fell a step back due to taking Daven's arrow to her shoulder, Harlan ad Sigry fell on the hapless knight like two starving wolves. Working in tandem, Sigry runs his hook through a chain link on Richard's armor, holding him in place as Harlan drives his dagger into his gut, burying it down to the hilt. The pain is excruciating, but only the beginning, for as the knight doubles over, Sigry's sword hacks at the back of his knees, slicing deep through sinew. (Richard receives a heavy wound from Harlan for -30 and a medium wound from Sigfry for -15, for a total of -45)

"Tim..." Daven starts holding his dagger in his hand. "Think on it, we are not safe under her leadership. She killed Alyn in his sleep for his bounty, she was probably the one that led Longinch to the brothel and had him caught." He claims. "She cares nothing for our lives as long as she can fill her own purse." He says backing away from the spear's reach and trying to buy time to escape towards the unguarded forest behind him.
