"I just said I'd stay, you fucking halfwit! You're killing me for a bounty hunter!" Richard roared through gritted teeth at Sigfry as the man hooked him.
Richard felt horrible pain, worse than anything he had suffered in the past, and knew the situation was dire. He wasn't about to fight three against one when he was heavily wounded. His leg may have been mangled, but running gave him a better chance of living than fighting Vex and her trio of thugs. Since his path to the horses had been blocked off, he turned and sprinted as fast as he was now able to away from his assailants and toward the trees.

Vex grunted in pain as the arrow shot through her shoulder, though a quick examination made it clear it'd be easily removed later.
It was astounding to her how much these two men would blabber in the middle of combat. Noticing Daven start to bolt out of the corner of her eye, she put her good hand to Sigfry's shoulder to gain his attention and point him towards Daven. "You said it, no witnesses," she said.
As Richard made his attempt at fleeing, she swung her spear with the intent to cut off his footing and then shove the spearhead through his chest once he was down.

Seeing as Harlan had his knife buried deep in Richard, he could not help but find the man’s attempts to flee humerous. How many women had attempted to run from Harlan’s dagger in the same fashion? How many had that same look in their eyes as he penetrated them over and over?
Perhaps there had been a time when Harlan would have accepted Richard’s apology, but that time had passed. He continued to stab away, like a relentless mosquito.

"Tim..." Daven starts holding his dagger in his hand. "Think on it, we are not safe under her leadership. She killed Alyn in his sleep for his bounty, she was probably the one that led Longinch to the brothel and had him caught." He claims. "She cares nothing for our lives as long as she can fill her own purse." He says backing away from the spear's reach and trying to buy time to escape towards the unguarded forest behind him. Agility: 60 Strength: 48 "We're never safe," Tim said. "We're bandits, not lordlin's. An' Vex is one o' us. Stand down an' let 'er lead, or yer a dead man. That mouthy knight ain't worth dyin' for." -Spears (+5 Against Chain) 68 Tools of the Trade +5 Spear Chain

Richard's attempt to flee in his heavily wounded state only ends with Vex's spear punching through his back, piercing through his chainmail like it was Dornish sand silk. He coughs up a gob of blood, knowing she must have hit a lung. (Richard takes another heavy wound for -30, now -75 for a permanent maim. +2 Agility Vex. +4 Agility Harlan.)
Daven fared much better in his attempts to flee, managing to get off of reach of Tim's spear and the pursuing Sigfry. However, the narrator had never mentioned anything about an "unguarded forest", having specifically mentioned that the terrain along the Kingsroad south of Lord Harroway's Town was more rocky than forested. There were trees here and there, but not dense enough foliage to hide in. He could head west towards the Kingsroad and pray he came upon another camp of travelers who may provide him safe haven or east in hopes he found somewhere in the wilderness to hide. (+2 Agility to Daven)

Daven weighs his options, and the voice inside his head that makes all the decisions whether or not bitch at the Narrator causes him to head west towards the Kingsroad.

Cursing, and too caught up in the moment to feel any regret for his actions, Tim ran to grab his bow and quiver then loosed an arrow against his former comrade. His fellow archer knew their secrets, and that meant he would have to die. If Tim's first arrow failed, he meant to try again.

Hearing the twang of the bowstring behind him, Daven dodges to the right....right into the path of the arrow. The projectile catches him right between the shoulder blades, the arrowhead protruding out from the middle of his chest in a shower of viscera. He manages to stay on his feet, moving weakly towards the main road. (Daven takes a Heavy Wound for -25. +1 Bows to Tim)

Richard couldn't outrun them, and he couldn't outfight them with his accumulated wounds. But he'd be damned if he gave Vex the satisfaction of dying like a dog.
Trying to grab Vex's spear with one hand and keep her from pulling it back out from his chest and freeing it, he held his hammer with the other hand and swung blindly behind him, hoping to hit one of his two assailants.

Vex gave Richard's back a healthy kick with her boot as she twisted her spear out of his back, to both add momentum and make him topple over, obviously attempting to avoid any lumps of metal swinging her way.

Tim grinned in triumph and took another shot at Daven. He wanted to kill, or at least disable the man.

Rather than pull the spear out, Vex viciously twists the shift within Richard, the blinding pain forcing him to his knees as the hammer slips from his hand and he coughs up a torrent of blood as she shreds his lungs. (Richard takes another heavy wound for -30, now -105. He is mortally wounded.)
As Vex pulls out the spear to mount up and ride after Daven, Harlan slits Richard's throat. (Richard is slain.)
////
Tim fires another arrow at the fleeing Daven, the shot hitting him in the calf. It was superficial, but would slow him down (Daven takes a light wound for -10, now -45)
As Daven is approaching the edge of Tim's range, the lad from Raventree takes careful aim, and lets fly. Daven slumps forward, the arrow's fletching protruding from the back of his throat, dying in much the same way as his short lived ally Richard, drowning in his own blood. (Daven is slain)

Tim strode forward to Daven's body as triumph surged through him. Practicality took over, he had arrows to retrieve and Daven surely had something else worth taking. Tim had never believed in wasting good items simply because the owner happened to be dead.
When he reached Daven, he looked down at the body. "Sorry, but you should have known better," he said.
He pulled free his arrows and began checking the body for other items to loot. If Daven had grabbed his bow when he fled, Tim would take it. If not, he'd grab it when he returned to camp.

Sigfry stuck his sword into the ground and pulled out a stained cloth from his pocket. He wiped off the blood from his hook, hanging it on there as he pulled his sword from the ground took a knee. He tucked the swords hilt under his hook arm and used his hand to wipe the blade clean.
He didn't like to stain his weapons, and always tried to clean them the moment he could

Vex wiped her spearhead on Richard's trousers. Good thing he'd put on the brown ones in the morning. Not that it much mattered now.
She nodded to Harlan and Sigfry and went to her horse, leading it over to Daven to retrieve his corpse. "What a fucking waste," she told Tim once she got there. "Better get him back over there or someone might spot him," she said, nodding at the road ahead, and tied a rope around Daven's feet, connecting him to the palfrey. Then, she took the reins and started leading the horse back.
