Alice grinned at her brother, stepping back a little so Violet could move in for her hug. She'd missed Belric dearly and was glad she was able to see him again, at least for a while.

The enthusiastic hug took her aback. She wasn't used to such open affection, especially from men and she barely recognised Belric.
"I was away so long," she said. "I have so many kinsmen I hardly know. But the war was kind to you, it seems."

"Well, you are back now," Ravensbane said with a grin, "Come! Meet some of your family." He ignored her comment about the war, trying to play it off casually. What was a woman to know of the kindness of war?
Belric motioned with an open hand towards Tallahar, "You've already met one bastard, so here's the other. Tallahar the Horse Whisperer!" There was that joyful laugh again. "He's a stronger fighter than he is a talker." Belric turned his attention to Edmure, rubbing the top of his head, disorienting the lads hair. "And here's little Eddy. A true blooded Blackfort by name, even if his attitude is a bit limp." Belric emphasized the last word, shooting a taunting glare in Edmure's direction. Finally, Belric moved to introduce Hoster, swatting him with an open hand in the middle of his back. "And this is your uncle, Hoster Blackfort. Don't expect anything but drunken disappointment from this one. And if you ever learn to understand whats comin' out of his bloody mouth, please let me know." When he was done introduce the men in his immediate area, Belric stood with his hands on his waist, seemingly proud of his rag tag companions. It was either that, or the wine had stained his face with a permanent smile.

Violet swept a deep curtsey to ger kinsmen. She thought they looked like a rough and ready bunch.
"Well met, sers. I am honoured to meet you all."

Alice smiled at the all and curtsied in turn, though somewhat less sophisticated than her sister.

As Belric introduced his two trueborn sisters to Tallahar the older man tried to show a warm smile but would mostly ended up looking a little odd, "Ah nice to ah meet you ladies."

"Likewise. I have never been sure how many bastards my father had. Ladies are not supposed to care for such matters, the septas told me. But a bastard brother is still a brother. I hope we shall become friends."

Tallahar sort of sat there quiet for a moment not really knowing what to say, "Umm friends yes that would be nice." After another pause, "You ah grew up with the Septas did you not?"

"Yes. I was sent to the motherhouse as a girl, but last year I decided I didn't want to be a septa after all so here I am."
She smiled brightly. "I think I will make a better lady than septa, truly. I lack the proper reverence. I learned a lot at the motherhouse but it meant I hardly know my own kin."

"Yes yes family is important. Especially know that Belric is going to be Lord of Harrenhal we must support him in what will come next." Tallahar seemed to come to an idea, "If your not a Septa then I take it you will be married to someone soon."

She had to laugh at his bluntness. "I expect so, yes. But there's Alice too, and she's my elder. Even Dacey..."
Though if the tales she'd heard of Dacey were true, it might well be more difficult for her sister to find a husband. Yet Violet knew that making a suitable marriage was the foremost duty of women in a lordly house.
"Belric's good fortune might even rub off on you," she countered. "A small lord with many daughters might seek the favour of the king's loyal friend."

As Violet seemed to grow my talkative Tallahar smiled at his sister but when she mentioned that even he may find a wife, "Oh really?" Shaking his head the older mans smile changed to a slight almost sad look, "No no I am too old for a fair maiden. Plus a bastard has no place is high society."

She smiled innocently. "Don't say that! The King was bastard born too, and look where he is now! And besides, if you don't want a young maid, you could have a pretty widow, mayhaps. Why should you not profit from our elevated position, the same as the rest of us?"

"That will be for Edmure and Nyles and you to elevate our position. A bastard must learn his place." Tallahar always remembered there father saying that to the young boy Tallahar once was. Often it was after a beating or when Tallahar asked questions that Bruce had no answer too.

"But...." She thought a moment about how to best formulate her argument. "The world is changing, brother. We have a new king and a new dynasty. Perhaps we are living in a world where bastards may rise to greatness. Unless you don't want anything to change?"
