Dacey, who'd conveniently just returned from Harrentown and given her horse to a stableboy, turned around with a single raised eyebrow upon hearing someone call Hoster brave. "That's a first," she called, recognizing the septon and linking him to Edmure's mission. "What's the message?" she asked.

Jared turned to Dacey and bowed in the saddle. "With respect, my lady, Ser Edmure's orders were that I should speak with your uncle. Is he...indisposed?"

"Most likely," said Dacey, who hadn't seen her uncle in days. She figured he was on another bender. "Whatever you want to say to him, you can say to me."

"As you will, my lady," Jared replied. "But I've ridden hard to get here and my horse needs rest. I'd appreciate a comfortable seat and a tankard of ale myself. Perhaps we might retire to the solar to discuss the matter in comfort?"
He didn't want to give the message in the presence of the guards. They'd find out soon enough, but he knew soldiers were terrible gossips and felt it was best not to chance them spreading rumours around.

Dacey seemed to consider it for a moment, assuming the septon's message was of a sensitive variety.
"Very well," she said with a slight nod, waiting for him to hand his horse over to the stableboy so they could have a word somewhere private.

10th Day, 3rd Moon
At the crack of dawn, Jared rode his faithful steed through the gates. Fortified by a restful sleep, a tankard of ale and a hearty breakfast, he was eager to head out to meet his lord. His horse too was refreshed by a night in the stables, and responded willingly to its master's command. Jared set a fast pace; he wanted to reach Lord Belric as soon as possible. After all, the situation was extremely troublesome.

////////// 10th Day, 3rd Moon
Ser Edmure Blackfort and his small party including Willis and Willem arrive back at Harrenhal. Edmure dismissed Willis and sent Willem off for some immediate medical attention. Edmure himself repaired to his chambers to clumsily nurse his broken ribs and fingers out of his riding clothes into attire more fitting for the acting Lord.

(At -30 You need a maester more than anyone else. Unless you'd like to die I would not suggest attempting to "clumsily nurse your broken ribs" as with zero medical skill you're more likely to do even more damage.)

("I'm not medically treating myself, I'm changing my clothes. From personal experience, even changing a shirt with broken ribs is difficult. )

(My point was that you've had multiple untreated broken ribs for days and have been riding a horse. Get medical attention ASAP or I'm going to start flipping the coin for complications.)

///////// 18th day of the 3rd moon
After an excruciatingly long absence, Belric returned to his castle. He was followed closely by his guard and the slain raven banners they held with pride. Moving hastfully, he reined his stead into the courtyard and dismounted without waisting any time.
Not knowing what to expect, He anxiously keept up his guard. There was a stillness to Harrenhal that made him uneasy.
"I must speak with my family at once." He said forecfully to the first person he could find. "Spread the word that the Lord has returned."

Having been informed of his brother's return, Edmure descended to the courtyard to meet him.
"Belric! Welcome home." He waved a hand at the walls. "You can see Harrenhal is still standing."

"This keep survived dragons, I'd hardly expected it to fall under your watch." He replied, his tone remaining speculative. "I trust you have taken care of the land dispute. I recieved your raven on my last day in Riverrun and circumstances forbid me from writing you back."

"The land dispute is indeed solved." replied Edmure. "In our favor. With a costly winter war avoided. Lord Vance will be here by the end of month to swear fealty. Lords Goodbrook and Shoreham are either on their way or have already arrived."
He did not want to tell Belric about Nyles out in the public courtyard and in truth he did not know the full story himself. Breaking that to Belric should be done in private.

"Well done brother. How did you resolve the dispute?"
