(Edmure brought 1 horse to Harrenhal, which was promptly shot in the face during the bear fight. Are you stealing horses from your own family? I want to clarify before I place a bounty on your head.)

If you're going to be that petty, when I'm trying to RP, forget it. Obviusly I'm not going to be riding horses anymore. Yeah I know...realism. Post deleted.

(Not petty, just applying consequences to actions as well as basic logic. Your horse got killed, so a replacement would come out of the family coffers. This is why leaving your family's service with a letter instead of telling them in person is problematic. A good brother would probably see you're provided with a horse of you told him in person. I'm just telling you that if you sneak off without telling anyone, you've technically broken your oath as a sworn knight and stolen two horses. It's up to Belric if he wants to prosecute that.)

(I'm not really going to continue this conversation much further, here, except to say that Edmure has resigned the castellanship and not - so far - left the family service. The letter said as much and no more. That's as far as anyone, including Belric, knows. Anything else is an OOC assumption. What actually happens from here on will depend on IC RP, including possibly with Belric. So to mention stealing horses in this thread, at this time, is premature. It could have easily been PM'd too. So If you want to continue this conversation PM me and I'll be happy to do so.)

(I was trying to help you out by ensuring that you were making an informed decision. But fuck it, I'm counting Edmure riding off with two horses as canon. Enjoy.)

18 March
Kyle heads to the castle after his fun meeting at the Unlucky Crab. He tries to just enter with the usual attention seekers and sycophants or those appealing for justice, but if questioned he will ask to speak to Ser Willis Blackfort or, in his absence, the Lady Dacey.

Dacey was just about to head out the gate with six guards after welcoming Belric back. She didn't really notice the innkeep as she was fixing her saddle before mounting her horse.

Kyle sees her and thanks whatever gods remain. He walks over. "My lady?" He asked. "May I have a word?" He frowned at all the people about. "It's important, I promise you." He swallows nervously. His businesses, honest and criminal, had left him with a distrust oh open places and bright light.

Dacey looked at him, recognizing the innkeeper without much effort, though she did not know his name. "Of course," she said, stepping aside as if sensing his anxiousness. "What is it?"

Kyle decided to get to the point. "The short answer is that a branch of some local outlaws plan on stealing taxes coming to the castle intended for your brother tonight," he said. "The slightly longer answer is that they want me to help them." He looked about. His mouth was dry.

Dacey was quiet for a while, studying the man as if trying to determine whether or not his story was credible. "What is your name?" she inquired.

"Kyle," he said. "I own the inn in town..." he shook his head. Maybe she didn't remember who he was at all. Irrelevant, right now.

She nodded. "The Lonely Ghost. It is good of you to come to us with this, Kyle. Where did you come across these bandits?" she asked. He must have known something about them if they'd tried to recruit him, she reasoned. "Did you catch anything about their numbers, or whose taxes they plan on stealing?"

"This fat knight came in to the inn, Ser Valarr," he said, "and told me they'd burned down another inn outside town. I went to go see what they were all about, because the Lonely Ghost is all I got, and I had some skills from an old life. They run the old Honeyspoon manor, coercing girls into doing what bad men make girls do, and I got to talking to a local Reeves's. He asked me to help and so I insulted him in public ten days to Friday and showed some old tricks.. I also used to brew sleeping medicines fora living so they thought I could help'em rob Ser Reggie of somewhere's Hill tonight."

She thought for a while, feeling like this was something Ser Valarr or the town watch should be dealing with. This innkeeper's background was a tad shady, but she kept her judgement for later. "Where is this manor, somewhere in Harrentown?" she asked, already thinking about issuing a raid.
