"An hour or so outside," he said. "Apparently outside Ser Valarr's jurisdiction. But I find it likely they have allies all about your lands."

"What makes you think that?" she asked, wondering if he had something solid.

"They're willing to rob the lord's tax men not an hour from his own castle in their own home," he said. "They don't seem to fear being found out, which makes me think these are the expendable ones. Someone named Skinner Jon is their leader, but even he may just be a go between."

"That's because they don't know who they're dealing with yet," she said, and looked around in the yard to see if there was someone there to escort Kyle to his brother. If there was no one, she figured she'd have to do it herself. As was the case usually, anyway. "I'm about to head out myself, but I'd like you to repeat what you said to my brother Jormun. Lord Belric has tasked us with weeding out the bandits in this area. I know your information is time sensitive, but I cannot postpone my current task any further. Jormun will know what to do."

18th day of the 3rd moon Following
Juran for the second time today approached a gate, this one at least was open. There was traffic to-and-fro and the hubbub of what looked departure. Upon a spotted ronsey he ambled up the cobblestones doing his best to stay out of the way of everyone else. Lacking anywhere he might lay it his boar spear was caught between the right of his saddle and his right shoulder, a strap stitched to hold it. Upon his left side hung a shield so battered the red stallion on gold upon brown looked more ruin than horse. Its length tapering down to a worn point that had once dented armour with a thrust. In leather armour as worn as the shield the young man came to a stop, a jagged rock pinned to his breast in place of a cloth sigil. His face was clearly that of a youth long, framed with a short brown beard. Despite the age and somewhat clear apprehension he held himself tort, his back upright and his eyes furtive. A little louder than the last time he had called out to an empty gate he called, "Who has the command here?" The small folk and he could see having passed before him made no such cry. However if he was to guess they were sworn to this castle and its lands, or the lords sworn to Harrenhal in turn. He however was not only a stranger but one sworn to another lord entirely. He looked around at the men and listened to the voices, trying to tell what purpose they were gathered. (56-Observation)

Kyle nods and heads off, looking for this Jormun. When he finds him, he will nod his head in respect. "Ser Jormun," he said, "your sister the Lady Dacey told me to speak with you on news of some import," he began. "I have inside information on the bandits she said you're tasked with eliminating."

(Success. One point awarded to Observation.)
A guard looks at the stranger and nods towards Ser Jormun in consultation with the innkeeper, who was heard using phrases like 'news of import' and 'information on the bandits' and 'tasked with eliminating'.

Jormun eyes Ethan briefly before grinning at the man, offering his hand. "Just Jormun, no Ser attached. If Dacey says it's important, I won't waste any time, and we could use as much information as we can get. Speak freely."

This was going to get old, telling his story three separate times, so he repeats to Jormun what he'd told Dacey, including the bandits in the tavern and their mission to be held that very night. "She said," he concluded, "that you'd know what to do."

Jormun's grin is a steady frown by the time Ethan is done speaking, already turning towards the keep as he responds. "Come with me, good man. Belric must know of this immediately, and then I will deal with these bandits."

As if on cue, Belric road out of the stables, ready to venture into Harrentown. "Who is this, brother?" He inquired of Jormun as he noticed the man he was standing with. Belric was not sure wether he could recognize the stranger or not, though his face looked familiar. Belric assumed he was one of the townspeople.

"This man reports that local bandits are planning on attacking your tax collectors, and are responsible for an inn burning down outside of town. They are lead by a man named Skinner Jon, but anybody moving so boldly is either a moron or a minion. This bandit problem may be more complicated than believed."

Juran remained mounted listening to the conversation as best he could, rampant banditry seemed to be the topic of the day for certain. It was somewhat annoying to be ignored for certain but he was of next to no import. Could they tell that for a certain by just one glance? Wetting his lip the half worn soldier shifted in the saddle and looked to the new man that approached. A knight maybe but he didn't strike Juran as a lord, the lack of deference from the first man seemed to confirm that though for now, Juran remained silent on that matter and all others.

Belric did not elude to his prior knowledge of Skinner Jon, apart from raising his eyes at the mention of his name. He looked kyle over, trying again to see if he could remembered the man. He felt like he had seen him in a tavern, though Belric had been to a lot of taverns.
"Do you know where these bandits are now, or where they are going to attack?" He asked Kyle, pausing before adding, "Sir..?" inquiring as to his name.
The looming presence of Juran did not go unnoticed. Belric turned to the man, frustration drawn across his face. "And you sir, who might you be?"

Kyle bowed. "My lord," he said. "I'm Kyle, formerly of the Honeyholt, now owner of the Lonely Ghost tavern. These bandits stay at the Unlucky Crab, but their master, Skinner Jon, wanders about. Tonight they plan on raiding a Ser Reggie's tax wagon heading to your castle by ambushing them at their tavern." He debated saying the next part aloud, then continued on. "They wanted me to help them. I used to brew sedatives and the like in my old village, and they thought my knowledge could be useful in overcoming the guards."
