Flowstone Yard is where men-at-arms exercise and drill and squires clean arms and armor. It has a lumpy surface and is located near the Wailing Tower. There is a covered gallery above the Flowstone Yard with arches looking towards it.

Yoren arrived and looked around the yard, trying to see any signs of battle, life, or anything of note as sat atop his horse in tense silence.

He did not have to look hard, or at all. Seven knights in full plate battled in the yard. Yoren would have guessed it was three on four, but it was hard to tell what the teams were when they all wore the same uniform. The Lothsons had clearly preferred an intimidating look for their personal knights, as each man wore jet black plate, with a greathelm in the shape of a skull and batwings forming the crest. The fighting was brutal and clash of steel almost deafening as they approached now. There was a loud crack as one of the knights took a wickedly flanged mace to the knee and the leg shattered, sending him to the ground howling in pain, only to be silenced when the following strike caved his visor into his face. Despite this looking akin to a melee at a tourney, the covered gallery and arches for seating that lined the yard for empty, giving the proceedings the look of some kind of morbid spectacle for an audience of ghosts.

"Wha' da feck's goin' on here?" Hoster asked his companions with a bark. Although the scene was still pretty strange and the men's armor disturbing, Hoster could see that these were men, not some demon or curse. And Hoster fucking Blackfort was not fucking afraid of fucking men.
"Do ye wan' me to tell them to sod off wi' their bullshit fight?" He asked Yoren.

Instinctively, Dacey reached for her bow. Hoster's question was essentially what she'd thought upon first witnessing the scene, but she'd had the sense not to shout it out (or loudly gab about how creepy the place was earlier), seeing as it was supposedly a quiet scouting mission. It hardly seemed to matter, though. It was as if logic held no power at this place. The moment they'd gotten through the main gate, reality had been a little skewed.
She stopped her horse as well, looking at the knights to see if they even noticed that a group of people had just entered the yard.

"There must be some sort of split in the forces.." Yoren said, taking his best guess at why both forces, both wearing the same armor, fought one another. "Or perhaps some of the harrentown lot got some armor." He said, not sure how to proceed. They'd need to get through this group to get across the yard.
Yoren drew his hammer, getting ready for battle as he thought of what to say, and to see how this played out a bit longer.

He was not enlightened in the slightest as the battle raged. It was not like the songs or books where knights announced their quest and challenged their foe to honorable combat, listing their villainous transgressions. This was brutal reality and as usually occurred numbers won the day more than valor. As the man with the now caved in skull was in the team of three, the fight quickly turned into a bloodbath after that as the group of four made short work of the two remaining. The last man standing managed to slice one of his opponents deep behind the knee, but was hacked to pieces by his compatriots. The wounded man lay on the ground, in need of medical attention, as his three compatriots looked to the seven newcomers.
"The fuck are you?" one of them asked, rather bluntly, voice echoing out from the black skull helm.
"You blind Harrys? Look at them. More of those peasant bandits from the town," another interjected.
"That it?" the man identified as one Ser Harrys asked, pointing his wicked mace at the seven. "Come to steal and loot like the rest? There are still knights in Harrenhal. Go back to your hovels!"

"We aren't peasents, and we aren't from Harrentown." Yoren said, frowning at how this situation had gone wrong pretty quickly. He had to think fast, and come up with something and fast.
"We're new arrivals here. Trades just come in from kings landing. We came here to see if we could present ourselves to the Lord of Harrenhal to offer our goods. The town seemed to be lacking much in the way in sale." Yoren said, literally just spouting out the first things that came to his head, "But I can see we aren't wanted here so we'll just be on our way." Yoren said, moving back slowly as he kept his eyes on the knights.
This wasn't the time to fight. If they had fully armored guards posted, he was sure they would have more further towards the tower, "You have a lot on your hands with killing those...those theives in armor, I take it?" He asked, trying to gleam some information along with their potential retreat.

"Oy, friend, since when do feckin' looters use a feckin' posh dress like tha'? We don' wan' ta loot shit, much less trouble. If yer castle didnee look like the haunted ruins o' feckin' Valyria we wouldn' need to hav' our weapons drawn." Hoster barked, first pointing his sword at Jon then at the commander of the knights. "But ah tell ye: Ye take ano'her step toward us and you'll wish ye had met da same fate as that mate o' yours o'er there."

(Success. +1 Intimidation)
To Hoster's credit, the knights don't take a step forward. It is impossible to judge their expression with the helmets on, but one can assume it is bewilderment mixed with a hefty dose of uncertainty.
"Most folks see a busted gate with a battering ram in from of it, they turn the hell around," Ser Harrys replied, obviously skeptical by the merchant story. "Don't you know there's a war on? Does it look like we're open for fucking business?"
One of the others spoke up. "Just take 'em to Whent. He can sort 'em out. Aint no Lord of Harrenhal at the moment. Or Lady of Harrenhal for that matter."

"The war is over," said Dacey, looking at the fallen knights before turning to the three. "Why are you infighting?"

Though they could not see the knights' faces, they could see their eyes widening or blinking in surprise at the news the war had ended.
"Who won?" Ser Harrys inquired, shock apparent in his tone.
As one of the other members turned to see to their wounded fourth member, the last of the trio kicked a corpse and answered.
"The honorable and noble Ser Bruce Whent, Knight of Kingspyre Tower, slew Lady Danelle Lothson for unspeakable crimes, acts cursed in the eyes of gods and men. His black hearted uncle, Ser Simon Whent, false Knight of the Wailing Tower, and his collection of infant thieving swine who call themselves men, took umbrage to this valiant act."

"The Blackfyres," she replied and nodded as if agreeing to the act being valiant, despite knowing nothing about this Lady Lothson.
"How long until this pretender's pig pen is cleansed?" she inquired.

"Gods above..." Harrys whispered, in reaction to the Blackfyre victory. "So the capital finally fell. Knew that bitch chose the wrong side."
The other man once again answered her question.
"Don't see how that's any of you business. Now sod off, Harrenhal is closed to trade for the time being."

Hoster's face darkened at the language the man had used to talk to his niece, the poor fool had no idea who'd been talking too. But soon his grimace soon turned into a self-entitled smirk as he imagined the knight's face when they were back with Belric.
"Aight, aight, good ser..." Hoster said, giving a bow and tipping a non-existent hat. "We'll be on our way."
