Ser Willem, who had been walking near the back of the group clad in chain mail, placed a hand on the hilt of his sword but made no move to draw it, picking up on Saesha's intention to talk her way out of the situation.

The five knights form a ring a around the group, weapons held out forward in silent threat. They had apparently decided that five men in full plate could easily handle the six, what with only one of the Blackfort group appearing to be a proper knight in proper armor.
"You just waltz on in through our gates armed and expect us to believe that?" the leader asked gruffly. "Only nail in the coffin is going to be your own if you don't toss down your weapons. Whent can decide what he wants done with you."

Tallahar cursed silently to himself and adjusted his grip on his reins. It seems this was going to be a fight.

Percival spoke in his most sarcastic voice with a contemptuous stare. "Yes. We thought ourselves so clever sneaking into your keep with a high lady and a Maester. You must be shaking in your boots with fear. Does any of you have the brains of a horse? We are here to see this Whent so lead on. And let the King's sister maintain a guard of honor. What kind of Knights do you have in the river lands? In the West we treat ladies with honor and respect." By the end he was wagging his finger at them like a disappointed teacher.
Persuasion 61 I think.

Persuasion 61 I think. If Ser Willem had been able to take his eyes off of the knights before him he would have turned to Percival with a look of complete incredulity on his face. Did this man want to get them slaughtered? "What kind of Maesters do they have in the West?" he muttered to Percival. "In the Riverlands they speak with wisdom, in ways that do not get those they serve butchered."

(Success)
Despite the patronizing chastisement of the maester, the knights took pause and glanced to one another, the leader finally sheathing his sword.
"Very well, we will escort you to Wailing Tower, but if one of your hands lingers too long near steel, it will be the last things you do," the knight said, before leaning in, the black skull helmet a hair's breadth from Percival's face, so close he could see the green eyes beneath. "And you'll keep a civil tongue, else you'll share the same fate as the last maester of Harrenhal."
With a hand motion from the leader, the knights, still circled around the group, all turned in synchronized unison, armored boots clanking in rhythm as they escorted the group towards the Wailing Tower.

Percival looked at Willem with contempt. He replied in a quiet tone just for his ears. "Look around you to see how things are done in the Riverlands." His eyes darting around to the dead Knights and destroyed hall. "Lies are always covered in sweetness but the truth is always bitter." Percival gave him a knowing smirk before turning to follow the Knights into the keep.

Saesha nodded and indicated to the others to not fight as they were surrounded and walked with them as they escorted them all, not nervous, just annoyed they took the Maesters word over hers, keeping a look out for anything interesting as they walked.

As they rounded the corner of the great hall, the entirety of the Wailing Tower came into sight, fissures running down its length, scars from dragonfire left two centuries ago. As they approached, Saesha could see dozens of corpses, all male and all peasant, their cold dead hands clutching crude weapons. Some were riddled with crossbow bolts, others carved to pieces with sword and axe, or skulls caved in with axe and hammer. When they make it to the massive oak door that serves as entrance, a clearing having been made in the corpses for entry and exit, the lead knight knocked. A slot in the door opened, followed by a short exchange of words, before the oak door swung open and the group was escorted inside.

////////// Belric arrived in the Yard, walking closely with Saesha so they could talk in private. "You have done very well, my Lady. As skilled a wordsmith as you are an engineer. Your reason worked far better than my... negotiating." Belric forced a smile as he left the sting from his ribs.

Symon crowds around with everyone else at his yard, he is a little bothered by the fact that the duel is happening there as he is probably going to have to clean it up once everything is finished.

Saesha smiled softly at him. She looked for a moment and seemed to make a decision. She slipped an arm around him to pub his injured chest, with delicate soft hands, leaning into his side as they walked. She had been kept warmer by adrenaline at trying to sort this out, but now that it was so close to being sorted she let herself relax a bit. It was cold. It was winter. And she had full Valyrian blood, which meant she felt the cold very keenly. "I am proud of you, Belric," she praised him, "We have hopefully saved many lives and a lot of suffering tonight, I imagine it has not been easy for you."

Yoren stood with his arms crossed in silence, hoping to the gods that they delivered justice onto Simon and Bruce both. They had both done wrong by their oaths, and he hoped that he could bring himself to work with whomever emerged on top.

Happy, Jormun's falcon, is at the trial as well, perched on one of the stones. Inns suck and there was going to be bloodshed. Happy loves bloodshed.
