On cue, Ser Willem and his two scouts road up as well.

"Wha' da feck is HE doin' here?" Hoster barked as Willem approached with the scouts. He didn't need this prick to muck up his whole operation.

Dacey hopped off her horse, granted they'd stopped at a relatively hidden place, and handed the reins to one of the new guardsmen.
"I'll go," she said. "If you hear steel, I've probably found them," she added as an afterthought, turning around to see who Hoster was so eloquently referring to. "Who's that?" she asked, having seen the rat-faced man around Belric once or twice. She'd figured he was another distant cousin or something.

"You want a hand?" Willis asked Dacey. "I've had some practice - turns out expendable knights tend to get tasked with following dangerous people pretty often." He ignored Hoster and the newcomers. No sense in getting involved with that old drunk's tiffs.

Willem frowned at the less than pleasant greeting he was accorded by his kin. "Well met, friends." He called out with sarcasm. "What brings you to the clay pits?"

"Som' bugger who thinks he's part o' the family." Hoster muttered at Dacey, he scowled at Willem with the fury of a thousand Maegor the Cruels. "Aight, ye go wi' Erik. We'll stay close."
"Huntin' som' bandits." He said, turning towards his natural son. "Ye can help, or ye can bugger off."

"Who in the fuck is Erik?" Was he already so drunk that he'd forgotten Willis's name?

"It's the name yer mother shouted when I fecked her..." Hoster teased playfully, covering his mistake. Maybe he should start cutting on the eraly morning drinks. "Now git yer balls movin'. We hav' som' hangin' to do."

"On whose authority?" Willem asked, curious rather than confrontational. "Edmure sent us to do the exact same thing."

"The actual feckin' Lord's." Hoster barked very confrontationally, but not loudly. Of course this little shit was in league with Edmure, what a beautiful couple they formed.

Dacey raised an eyebrow at whatever was happening between Hoster and his 'friend' and made a mental note to later find out who he was.
"Come," she told Willis, deeming him far more reliable for the task at hand than Hoster or any of the newcomers. "Try to keep it down here, will you?" she said to the rest of their merry band and started towards the clay pits, staying low where possible.

"I see." Willem replied. "Well then we might as well work together and not be complete disagreeable bastards toward each other, wouldn't you say?"

"Ah ain' da basterd here, kiddo..." Hoster chuckled provocatively, turning his back to Willem and getting back to his preparations to a possible fight. Interestingly, Hoster still had no idea the lad was HIS bastard.

Willis dismounted and followed Dacey. The sneaking wasn't his strong suit so much as the tracking, but he did his best to keep quiet.

Interestingly, Hoster still had no idea the lad was HIS bastard. Willem's jaw noticeably tightened as his own insult was turned against him. "Very well." He called out at Hoster's back. "Since you are unwilling to work with us we will just search the other part of the pits."
