Sent down to the granary with the rest of Saesha's guard, excluding the rude maester, Willem glanced about, taking in his surroundings and those present who did not belong to their small group.

(+2 to Observation)
There are at least a score of knights spread out in the massive granary, some armored, though most were not. Willem was reminded of being within the walls during the Siege of Riverrun. Some men diced, some talked, others chewed on the hardtack they had redered from the grain, clearly already sick of it.

Tallahar choose to lean against the wall nearest to stairs straining to hear anything from the Solar that might indicate Lady of Harrenhal being in trouble.

"Haven't seen the sun in a fortnight," one of the lads replied dryly. "Could be doing better."

"Haven't seen the sun in a fortnight," one of the lads replied dryly. "Could be doing better." "I know you pain." Willem commented, sympathetically. He glanced back at his companions, and satisfied they were far enough away they would not hear him added quietly. "I was stuck at Riverrun for the past three years. Never thought I'd see anything other than those bloody walls. But a man has to do his duty."

"You were a Red then?" the young knight asked, a smile spreading to his face. "Sit and have a drink with us. There's still a bit of wine from the cellars."
"Heard we lost the war, but we gave 'em hell didn't we?"

"Heard we lost the war, but we gave 'em hell didn't we?" "I was." Willem nodded. "Won my spurs at Redgrass field. Then was stuck in Riverrun for three years. Could walk around the bloody place with my eyes closed now. War's over and I serve the Blackforts now, but aye, we fought a good fight." He sat down with the men. "You are very kind to share your wine with a stranger." he told the group appreciatively. "But perhaps I can offer you something to raise your spirits in return. Lord Belric Blackfort is here to claim his new holding, and his wife is negotiating with your commander now. With any luck you will be able to see the sun again soon enough." (OOC: If I can roll Charm with a skill of 0 I will try)

(You cannot.)
"That so?" the young knight inquired, sounding unconvinced and unimpressed. "Long as Ser Bruce lives, they'll be no peace here. I'll get used to the shade until that day comes to pass."

"What exactly are the nature of Ser Bruce's crimes?" Willem inquired. "I've no doubt your cause is just, I'm just afraid my understanding of events that occurred outside of Riverrun these past three years is rather limited."

"Murder of his liege lady and a betrayal of his oaths of fealty," the man replied simply, without elaborating. "Capital offenses."

Willem nodded in agreement. "One cannot allow such deeds to go unpunished. I doubt Lord Belric will. If a man is prepared to kill one liege, what is to stop him from killing his new one? Lord Belric doesn't seem a fool to me, I am sure he will deal with it as he ought to."

"I hope so, or we will," the young knight promised. "The law demands it."

It occurred to Willem that he had failed to introduce himself. "Let us hope it does not come to that. Ser Willem Rivers, by the way." he commented.
