"My day with Medgar will come." He assured her. Belric was not one to forget, or to forgive. "But until then, I will keep the peace and do as Daemon ordered, just as I did in Riverrun. In the mean time, we must work to build a relationship with Lord Piper. He is our closest conflict, which also means he has the most to gain from our harbor. By making ourselves financially indispensable to him, we will indirectly weaken his ties to Tully."

"Can we not talk about strength in our house for its own sake, not to just bring down tully?" She asked, sighing like she was very tired. "You should apologise to him."

"Of course," Belric replied. "Let's convince Lord Piper to align himself with us, for the betterment of our house... and for no other undisclosed reason."
He did not acknowledge her remark about the apology.

"I am serious, Belric, and so should you be. I would also appreciate it if you'd discuss things with me. You and I are a team Belric,"
She cupped his face with a sigh, "I don't want us to grow apart."

He pulled her hand from his face, and took it in his. "A tree does not grow away from the sun."

She rolled her eyes, but her expression showed that he'd pleased her somewhat despite th cheese, "I've never been called a tree before," she jested.

Belric laughed, pulling her closer to him. "And I have never referred to myself as the sun."

"Nor should you, it would not suit you at all," she teased with a grin and kissed him

He returned her kiss, sliding his hands down her backside, lifting her by her thighs. Gently, aware of Saesha's delicate state, Belric wrapped her legs around him and held her off the ground in his embrace.
When their lips parted, he smiled at her. "If I make a poor sun, then you make an even worse tree. Look how easily I uprooted you." He teased her playfully. It had been too long since they had shared a moment.

"Uprooting trees rarely does much good unless you plant something in its place," she returned with a playing smirk, tightening her legs around him, and leaning down to bite his lip before kissing him again. "There are many faiths which worship the sun, but your own people worship trees themselves, either way, I think you owe me some reverence," she ran a hand gently through his hair only to grab it roughly and pull his head back to look him in the eye.

Belric gritted his teeth, excited by Saesha's playful agression. "On the contrary, my love. It is only once you've uprooted a tree that it can serve a purpose. We use the logs to build homes, we burn the wood to survive winter, and we sharpen the branches into spears to defend ourselves from harm. It is an artist who can shape it into something beautiful, a carpenter for something practical, and a shipwright who can uses a tree to cross the vast seas. For all of this, a tree must abandon it's roots." He raised an eyebrow as his lip curled into a coy smile. "And now that I have uprooted you, I plan to use you in my own way."
He kissed her more passionately, using his tongue to tease hers. "Let me show you a reverence no man has ever shown a wirewood." His fingers found the lace ties at the back of her dress, and while walking her to the bed he began to untie them.

"A tree can have its own purpose... it's own beauty. If you cut a tree down, its useful, but finite, you need to replace it with something else to make more grow." Clear he had not understood what she meant by plating, but that was no matter. "are you saying I am not beautiful until a carpenter carves me up?" She asked, with mock shock, as he walked her back, her own hand moving to undress him in turn.

Belric had definitely not missed her comment about planting seed. If she had not already taken notice, he was about to reveal his own wood, ready to be burried.
"An entire forest could not surpass your beauty. For you are the sun." His fingeres finished with the last few ties and he ran his free hand through her platinum hair. "Golden, warm, and dangerous to any passing gaze." He pulled her dress from her body, his eyes dancing across her nude skin. "Yet I cannot look away, even if it leaves me blind."

"I would not have you blind," she grinned, and let go of him so he could deposit her on the bed, comfortably naked, "but enough of the metaphor, my love, come fulfil your duties....
