"As I have just spoken. An initial trip to visit our bordering lords. And a second to treat with those further afield." He hooked his hands in his belt, confident his plan would be sufficient.

"Then it is settled, you and Violet will prepare to make leave for South Stone. I will be sending Tallahar with you, to negotiate a deal to breed horses for our two houses." Belric folded his arms, satisfied by what had been discussed in the meeting.

"Very well my lord, I will begin making the arrangements." He rolled up the map and tucked it away for later.

"Find me before you leave." Belric said, embracing his uncle before turning to exit the stewards quarters.
He leaned towards Violet as he made his way out, "Be sure to decide whl you would like as your personal guard. I would not send you into the lions den without a man you can trust."

Violet frowned. "I don't know who I can best trust, Belric. You fought beside our kin, you know them better than I. Who would be best able to handle the diplomatic situation whilst having the skill to protect me?"

"How would you feel about having your sister as your guard? There are few people I trust with my life, as much as I trust her."

"Dacey? Oh, yes, that would be a good idea," Violet replied. "I know I would be safe with Dacey."

It isn't long before the master mason is ushered in by a young lad. The steward's desk is covered in a seeming mess of papers, parchments and parcels but Jon places his ledger aside to greet Qhorin. "Ah, Master Mason. Your visit is not unexpected, please take a seat."

"Thank you" the Mason said gratefully. "I've got a few matters I thought we needed to discuss, now that the Lord and Lady have left the castle." The real with for the man was now beginning.

"Indeed they have." Jon produced an ink and quill and looked at the mason expectantly. "Which matter shall we start with then?"

"The most important I think. Construction needs to begin on the dock and quarry, and so the gold for it needs to be released and paid for materials and workers. The lord has ordered the construction to begin (OOC: I think) and I want to start as soon as we can."

"Of course. I have already set aside the required funds for these projects. Part of this I can give to you as a stipend for any immediate expenses. The rest you may simply charge to the treasury and I shall take care of the payments. 1600 dragons for the quarry, and 2400 for the port. 4000 in total."
(OOC: Spending 8 wealth on construction of a quarry, and 12 wealth on the port.)

"Good" says the Mason, retrieving a crumpled piece of paper from his side and laying it on the mans table. His handwriting was rough but serviceable "There's the things we'll need for both projects. Don't think I'll need any gold, just the materials that you can get us. We'll be working together on this one, but I will handle the blunt side of it. I'll have to coordinate with the smith as well in Harrentown, but that'll be tween me and him."

Jon accepted the paper, his eyes narrowed as he read the specifications. "I won't question your methods, mason. I shall get you the materials." He nodded and rolled the paper up tightly. "The orders will be made before dusk, so you may begin as soon as possible."
