The office for Harrenhal's Steward. Numerous chests, boxes and crates full of receipts and other records line the walls. A singular massive desk of dark pine holds the centre of the room, itself covered in books and papers.

22nd day, 2nd moon.
Violet headed to the steward's chamber with Belric. "I hope he's present," she murmured, having no great notion of what a steward's duties entailed.

Belric knocked on the door, "Uncle, are you in?"

Jon answered the door himself. "Lord Belric." He said in warm surprise, "And Violet too. For what do I owe the pleasure? Please come in. I'd offer you something to drink but it's a poor steward that keeps wine in his office." He joked.

Violetvstepped inside but waited for Belric to explain their reason for visiting. He was lord, after all, and she didn't want to be presumptuous.

"We are here to talk strategy," Belric said as he entered the room. "I have a mind to send you and Violet abroad. Now that we have control of Harrenhal, it is time to form relationships with the other lordships in the Riverlands."

“I see.” He looked to Violent, knowing full well what her presence on such a journey would achieve. “Very good then. Have you given thought to any Lordships in particular?” While he awaited an answer he retrieved a map of the Riverlands from an oaken box and spread it upon the table.

"I would like to start with the houses who backed Daemon during the war. Bracken and Roote were fair allies, and it would benefit us to keep it that way. Once we strengthen the relationships with the Lords on our boarders, we can set our sights towards more troubled water." Belric examined the map next to Jon. "When Edmure returns from his leisurely tour of Harrenhal's surroundings, I plan to visit our vassals personally."

The steward nodded, “A tour of your vassals will be required. Shall we be attending you on this trip also?”

Violet spoke a little anxiously. "We will need to make a good show of it with a proper entiurage and courtly attire. Some of the lords we visit will surely offer to feast us. And it won't hurt to let them think we are more prosperous than we are."

"Saesha and I will handle the local tour. I would rather Violet be seen by the Lords whom are not my vassals. We would be smart to position her as Lady of another house. If I'm not mistaken, Lord Roote is already somewhat taken by you, dear sister."

Violet blushed a little. "I thought so at first but when we parted, I begin to wonder if he was merely toying with me. I have only met him the once, though. And I think it remiss of us to pin our hopes on one man when there are bound to be many more eligible lords and heirs i have yet to meet. Yet I did like Lord Roote, so I would be happy to meet him again."

"I do not plan to wed you to him immediately, but your presence alone may make Jon's job a lot easier. Negotiating will be easier if there is a woman in his sights."

"Will it? Is..." she hesitated. "Is Lord Roote a..womaniser?" She wrinkled her nose in disapproval.

"A young and handsome man, and Lord of one of the more powerful houses in the Riverlands. The man may be a womaniser whether he likes it or not." Jon pointed to the lands west of the God's Eye. "Our lands also border those of Lord Piper. A more delicate relationship I'm sure. They fought for the Reds and... killed your father."
