He can hear moans emanating from one, muffled conversation from another, and silence from the third. Nyles is very aware of that one of the prostitutes is watching him. "I'm mildly insulted you would ignore me in all my glory, milord." She crossed her arms over her clothed bosom, but her look was amusement.
"I'm not getting old, am I?" She was, but she was, at most, twice the squire's age.

Nyles smiled. "Of course not," he assured her. "But I'm looking for someone," he said apologetically. He handed her a few coins. "He has a droopy hat and is in one of those rooms." He kept a boyish grin. "I'm sure you like easy coin, right?"

She collected the coins and counted them before noddinging to the room with the voices. "I'm sure I wouldn't know." Then she went into her room and audibly locked the door behind her.

Nyles had less than no plan now; the curse of a lack of allies. He looked about and decided to lay low until the priest came out. He'd see his acquaintance then.

The prostitutes and their clientele paid him no mind. People came here to be ignored, after all.
In time, his target leaves the room with another gentleman with piercing blue eyes and hair so fair that Myrcella would no doubt be envious. He wears a grey cloak over his tunic and made his way to the stairs, seemingly paying no mind to the royal squire.

Both the men possibly knew him on sight, so Nyles waited a few seconds until they got on the stairs to rise and follow at a distance. He kept his eyes open for anyone trying to get near him. He bites his lip and resists the endless urge to grab his dagger.

(Possible success on both counts.) The man with the drooping hat was speaking with the bartender with the many tokens of faith. The bartender nodded and turned to another pair of gangly men nearby. They set down the drinks they were nursing and followed the hooded man out the door. The charlatan took a bottle for himself and left the tavern shortly after. Neither the false priest, the giant sailor behind the bar, the hooded stranger with the striking features, nor the two footpads seemed to notice him.

Nyles knew appearances could be deceiving, but he leaves a few seconds after them and tries to stay a hundred or so feet away from them all to see where they go. He keeps his hand on the hilt of his sword which is as concealed as he can make it under his winter cloak.

He sees the hooded man head in the direction of the Great Sept with his two escorts while the false priest makes his way towards Flea's Bottom. Or maybe not. It's a big city.

He follows the three men. Nyles tries to duck into short alleys that connect back to the road so that he can sniff out attempts for people trying to follow HIM. Shit shit shit, he thought. These men had no lack of allies and the city watch could be on their side. He stops at a mulled wine stand briefly and orders a cup with a cover of the hottest mulled wine he can find. If anything could give him a momentary advantage near boiling water might be it.

The wine merchant hands him a warm wooden cup with paper tied across the top to keep the heat from escaping. His three targets pause to stop at another brothel called the Reddening Rose, a much more high end establishment than the sailor's den they have just left. The two goons remain outside while their master enters to conduct whatever business he has there. It is clearly not pleasure, for he is only inside but a moment, and shortly returns to his trek through the city.

Nyles knows he will eventually be spotted, if he hasn't been already, but he continues following the man at a distance. He makes a mental note of the brothel and keeps looking behind and to the sides as well as on the three men, for signs of himself being followed. If the wine starts to get cold, he'll hand it to a beggar and get more when the opportunity arises.

(Success) They were at the base of Visenya's Hill at, and surprisingly, not far from Visenya's home at Maiden's Crossing. Indeed, the strangers pass the site of the once Hearty Herb's tanning business.
They suddebly halt in the street. The hooded man points to the building and one of the thugs approaches the front door to knock on it. With no response, the thug produces a key and enters on his own. The other two pause to buy from a tea merchant nearby while they wait for whatever is meant to occur.

(Assuming this is the tanning building, not Visenya's home). As soon as the man goes for the key, Nyles heads as swiftly as he can around the building and tries to enter through the other side. He won't try to force the other door and if it fails he'll go back around the other side to show up opposite where he had been.

He finds the tannery's rear door locked. Fortunately, the thug leaves the front door locked behind him. The front room looks much as he remembers it, though it is much colder for lack of heating in the past few days.
Either the footpad entered the backroom where Hearty Herb lost his life, or he has gone upstairs, which the royal squire has never visited.
