No one ever learned the true identity of Benjy Blue Eyes. Ser Rory only arrived in King's Landing the day after Maekar had sailed away, leaving this man in charge. He thought perhaps he might be of Western stock, but while his accent was crisp and educated, there was no hint of any particular kingdom. After his death, Shiera Seastar would inform His Grace that while the name Benjy Blue Eyes appears on building deeds of sale and trade agreements dating back at least a year, none of his various business partners claimed to have ever actually met the man until during a few days prior to Bittersteel's siege. It was altogether likely that Maekar Targaryen and his Small Council had not yet selected the actual agent of their revenge until they already knew they were fleeing for Sunspear, and then Volantis. Therefore, the man responsible for the deaths of Nyles Blackfort and a half dozen men of the City Watch, as well as welding terror and faith in the streets of King's Landing, really could have been... anyone.
The blue eyed man doesn't see Richard enter the room, but he does see the glint of Dark Sister and it's brother as they exit his chest. Harlan drives his own sword along the same path into the opposite direction. Before the sworn sword, the spymaster's face contorts in agony. He finds just enough strength, or perhaps just enough spite, to raise his sword to bring it down across Harlan's head, before yet another sword is pushed into the rebel's neck, lunging across the shoulders. With the last bit of strength in his so tired arms, Nyles manages to saw his way outwards and through his throat.
In the corner, Ser Rory Dondarrion is kneeling and surrendering to Sebastian, though he knows he will likely spend the rest of his life in the black cells. He trusts his highborn status and information might grant him certain concessions.
The royal squire's arms give out, his hands losing their ability to grasp the weapon. Almost immediately afterwards, so do his knees.
(Impromptu agility roll. Success.)
Richard catches him before he hits the floor, leaving his swords in the dead man's back.
(+10 Influence to House Blackfort, for being heroes of the Iron Throne. Take your time saying goodbye. Timejump will occur after scene ends.)
