Loras looks at Conner, or perhaps Conner looks at Loras. Kyle never learned which was which. "The farm?"
Conner/Loras slowly nodded and began pulling the red haired daughter up the stairs into the sunlight...
...where a woodman's plain axe swings down and plants itself in the man's face. As the bandit falls back into the cellar, Robb Honeyspoon finally appears above. His face has been beaten nearly beyond recognition and the butcher's knife he holds is shaking with his hand, but Kyle recognizes his supposed rival.
"Get away from my wife, you bastards!" His daughter doesn't even stop to embrace him, and simply flees into the yard past him.

While a good speech to be sure, Belric's words never reach the old squire's ears, if only because there is very little left of them when Willem's sword slices through his remaining skull. The bandit's knees waver for a brief moment though and his hammer remains poised above Willis's skull. Then gravity takes its toll and he falls backwards, spilling any valuable knowledge he might have had over Reggie's rather fine greaves.
(1 point to Belric's persuasion, 2 points to Willis and Wilem's weapon scores, and 6 points to Hal posthumously.)

When Ser Garlan rides to the back gate with the last good horse, he finds Dacey with a bolt in her side and two men laying dead or dying at her feet. Her fat target, who could not outrun a small child, easily outpaces while mounted on the old nag. He grins at Dacey, stating in a soft but articulate voice. "My father was Master of the Hunt for Old Lord Lothston. Both of them said I was too much of a liability to take into the woods. Now I ponder whether Father would be impressed now... Look at my prey now, Papa. She's a fine catch, is she not?"
Then he raises his crossbow again, takes aim, and fires into the sun as Garlan's spear pierces his gut. He topples into the cool Riverlands mud, while the horse gallops frantically about the yard. Garlan rides from the opposite side of where the fat bandit lay.
"Do you require great assistance, my lady?" He eyes the wound in her side.
(Medium Wound and two Sword points to Dacey.)

Willem shook the viscera and brains off his sword onto the floor, before sheathing it and looking over to Belric. "Are you alright, my lord?" he asked, ignoring Willis for the moment. Time would tell if the man came through on his promise. Not that Willem particularly wanted him to in any event.

Willis lowered his shield and exhaled forcefully as the big bandit toppled. "Much obliged, Will. I'll be sure to recommend you, next letter I send home." He turned to Belric. "You good, boss? Nothing too important get broke?"

Kyle sidles on over to his 'friend'. "Well, this has been fun," he said, then goes to sock him right in the face.

Kyle feels the man's right eyeball bounce off his knuckles, just before his entire head snaps back. The bandit involuntarily let go of his hostage, who promptly sprinted upstairs. She also did not bother to dramatically embrace the asshole who got them into this mess in the first place.
Loras/Conner/Lonnie rubbed his eye, but made no attempt to attack Kyle. "The fuck was that about, Flex?! Don't you get it?! Those people are worse than us! We never burned down any inn! Seven hells, why would we?! It was Robb here with a couple of torches. All we did was blackmail him for a place to stay."
"I-I had to..." It wasn't clear whether Robb stayed behind to defend his family's escape, or just his actions. "The owner knew Ser Walder too well. If he exposed us as frauds...It cost my family's remaining coin just to counterfeit a proper genealogy. And it's not like the old knight had any real kin to speak of..."
(2 Unarmed points to Kyle. Heavy Wound to Loras/Conner/Lonnie, who is going to be struggling with his vision for the foreseeable future. Heh.)

"I don't hurt ladies," Kyle said in a half apologetic tone. "It's so...cliche," he said. He shook his head. He felt like Kurt Russell in Big Trouble in Little China...sometimes a man just wants his inn back. "I know a loss when I see one," he said, "they got a fucking army here and that isn't going to change." He turned to Robb. "I'd recommend killing him," he said, indicating the half blinded man he'd punched, "before he spouts all that off to Lord Belric about your less than legal activities, Robb. I'm a bit easier to cut a deal with than him, I assure you. He actually asked if Hal was our boss." He shook his head with a combination of disbelief and amusement. "But dumb and armed is still a winner over clever and divided."
He looks over the drinks as he talks to see if any was worth looting as payment for his services rendered (43 Observation).

"No," said Dacey, and with some effort, sheathed one of her swords to free her hand and press it to her side to see whether anything vital had gotten hit. "Go after him," she said, pointing the hilt of her other sword in the direction Dick Dastardly had fled. "Think he's headed for Shoreham. He has the taxes."

"I'll live," he replied, clearly still in pain. "Let's go skewer ourselves a rat. I want that bar hand's head." Belric steppes over blondie's body, following the escape rout Kyle had taken.

"Bel, me and Willem can take care of this," Willis said, following behind Belric, "You just got a few ribs broke, unless I miss my guess. Might be more than a few, but at any rate enough that you shouldn't be fighting. Stay here, catch your breath, have a drink, maybe go find Dacey."

Again, Willem found himself nodding at a suggestion of Willis'. What was going on? Had the man always spoken sensibly or was this a new development? Willem was not entirely sure. "Ser Willis has the right of it, my lord. There is no need for you to risk your health over this. We will deal with those bandits who remain."

Ser Garlan nods to her, before collecting his spear and riding out the gate at a gallop.

Kyle finds almost a dozen bottles of that Arbor crap the highborn go bonkers for, plus a casket of the Pinkmaiden wine Ser Reggie had spoken so highly of. Nearby is some very rare Bear Island mead, but it was anyone's guess what that tasted like to Southron tongues.
In the cellar, the two Blackfort knights witness a pair of men wrestling each other in front of the door leading outside. They have apparently already pummeled each other's faces in, as the leathered man's face bears a fresh bruise over his right eye while the unarmored man carries a host of them all over his face and neck. Both are armed with impressive knives that would bore into each other if not for force of will.

Willis stopped and took in the scene in front of them. After a few moments, he cleared his throat and said loudly, "So, uh, who's who and which one shouldn't we kill?"

Willem considered wading in to split them up but saw no need to risk his health. Instead he drew his sword, blood still stained across its surface. "Like Willis said, funs over."

Kyle was faintly disappointed that they'd both failed so magically at killing each other, but he came back with a bottle of the Pinkmaiden wine and pointed. "One all beaten up is Robb Honeyspoon. He owns the place. One eye is a bandit. I'd save everyone trouble and kill the blind one. If either of you have half a mind at improving your lot in life you'd kill Honeyspoon too on account of his torching a perfectly nice family's inn. And he has a pretty daughter in line to inherit the place if either of you are the marrying type. Do you all like mead? I love mead. Could turn this place to a right traveller's haven like it was..." it was clear the fate of the two did' weigh heavily on his conscience.

Meanwhile, Dacey moved over to the bandits on the ground to search them for any evidence or finish the job if any of them weren't quite dead yet.
