1st day of the 5th moon
Having prepared himself over the last few weeks for the coming tournament, Belric decided he wished to spend the eve surrounded by his family... Or what was left of it.
He had ordered the servents to prep dinner in the Great Hall, and sent word to his respective kin, inviting them to join.
Contrary to his customary demeanor, Belric was is a fine mood. The coming tournament had lifted his spirits, something he had not expected. He waited paitnetly for his guests, content with the food and drink before him.

Willem was quick to arrive, garbed in his second finest set of vestments, the finest having been set aside for the tournament proper. He bowed his head on entering, "My lord."

"Good to see you, cousin." Remarked Belric, kicking a seat out from under the table so Willem could join him. "How have you been? We have not spoken since your return."

"I have been well enough, my lord." Willem replied, making his way over to the offered seat and taking it. "I have been meaning to thank you for offering to ransom me. It was quite a lot of gold that was asked."

"The circumstances called for quick decisions. A good knight is worth the gold. One of my family however, is worth a war. Lord whats-his-fuck may not ever know how close he came to to his own grave." Belric tore free a large chunk of bread, his eyes however did not leave Willem. "Did they treat you well enough?"

"Well he's healthy enough to be eyein' Frey girls to take to bed, so they can't have done too much damage to him. Least not to his dangly bits." Willis interjected as he entered the room, dressed passably and grinning.

Willem gave Willis a nod before turning his attention back to Belric. "I was not harmed, although I was threatened with being hung in the event that you did not pay. Apart from that, they simply left me in their dungeon, and fed me on occasion, until Lady Dacey returned for me."

Belric, refraining from getting up, kicked out a chair for Willis as well. "Sit!" He ordered, his tone jovial. "There is much drinking that needs to be done!"
He poured both the men a large cup of wine, before refiling his own. "If it was only threats, then let us put the ordeal behind us. Your neck remains unbroken, and from what Dacey has told me, Lord whatever-his-name-is was quite apologetic." Feeling that the issue had been settled, Belric raised and eyebrow at Willem and Willis. "Now, which events will the two of you been competing in?"

"All but archery for me," Willis said, pulling up a seat and pouring himself a drink, "Been a bit since I got to use a lance. We'll see how rusty my aim is."

Violet arrived presently, wearing a dress of fine crimson wool embroidered with black leaves. She smiled at her brother and cousins.

"Just the melees for me, my lord." Willem offered as Violet entered.

"Probably for the best. I could hand Dacey the prize for archery right now, with confidence." Belric laughed out the last few words. He raised his glass to both Willem and Willis. "To your good fortune, cousins. Give these cunts a proper welcome to Harrenhal, ey?" Before he could sip his wine to finish the toast, Violet entered the room. He opened his arms wide, and smiled at his sister. "And to you, Violet, the bride to be! May your fortunes outshine us all."

"I will drink to that, my lord, if you don't mind my saying so." Willem commented. "Lady violet has far more to offer than Willis or myself."

Jormun made his entrance wearing a forest green doublet, probably the most expensive item he owned. He grins at Belric and his cousins, eyeing the table. "Good, there's still food. A man should eat what he's caught."

Dacey entered the hall in a black woollen dress and a matching cloak, her hair down in a long braid.
"Evening. Just us?" she inquired as she took a seat next to Jormun, wondering how the gathered riverlords felt about being left out while their hosts dined in the giant hall all by themselves.
