I don't even remember this character (Shoreham). Oops! Time to do some searching when I get back from work. Hoster Shoreham is the second son of Lord Oswell Shoreham, one of your vassals.

I like to think Edmure left Jormun his surname in his will.

That sounds just petty enough to be plausible.

I get my own vassals now? Yay! I just checked out the NPC list and I remember him now. I remember seeing the pic before and recognising the actor from The Mists of Avalon.

Belric let out a chuckle following Dacey's jest. "Speaking of target practice, I've watched you drop a rider from fifty yards at a full gallop. These stationary targets shouldn't present much of a challenge." He gave her sly grin, his expectations were obviously high. The Bohort-The archery contest, which thanks to the abundance of carrion birds that haunt Harrenhal, will be conducted with live game in the Godswood.

I mean I read Danny, the Champion of the World. Birds can be alive and stationary.
Also, don't bother pretending you uncultured swine have even heard of the book. I know none of you have!

Dahl is the bread and butter of children's literature here, pretty sure I've read all of them.

Chuckles.
Ive read all Roald Dahl's children's books many times, my sister has all my copies in hand for my neice to read or be read to, and I've read his biography a few times. Should really get around to reading his adult books.

4th Day, 5th Moon, Afternoon
In the shallow waters of the God's Eye, near the completed Harrenport, a great wooden platform has been erected for the melee to take place. Contestants will battle until only one remains on the platform, the rest having been knocked into the water. Judging by the thin layer of eyes on its surface, it would be a cold dip for many of the competitors. Harrenhal bringing it's eye-game of creepiness, I see.
