"You insult me, brother. Is my armor not pretty enough for you?" Belric raised his arms, spinning around once to show off his plate. The armor looked like it had seen better days, deep grooves and dents covered the entirety of its exterior. It was old, practical armor; its durability evident from its wounds. Clotted blood still clung to the steel, the last remnants of men stupid enough to have gotten in Belric's way during the siege. His right elbow was especially gored, pieces of flesh and hair hanging in the joints. Belric had no memory of the retreating castle guard, whos skull he had bashed in while overtaking the city. "I would say I'm ready for a tourney. You disagree?"

Tallahar chuckled slightly, "A tourney for the dead perhaps Belric. But what will your royal bride think of her barbarian of a husband."

"I imagine she would be grateful. Grateful for all the blood I spilled to ensure her brother won his throne." He smiled a wicked grin. Then Belric looked down at himself, perhaps seeing the barbarian his bastard brother spoke of for the first time. He glanced back towards Tallahar, "But perhaps it's better if she does not seem me like this."

Tallahar pointed towards the Blackwater river not far from the camp that the Blackfort family was drinking at, "Are you thinking of going for a nice refreshing dip brother?" Looking back at his armour, "I'd remove the plate before you go diving in."

"I think tonight I will substitute the bay for the soft hands of a beautiful woman and a warm bath.". Belric walked up close to Tallahar, placing a brotherly hand on his shoulder. "Our name holds favor now. Be sure to enjoy the benifits, they may not last forever."

Tallahar looked away from Belric, "Your name holds favor now Your Lordship. I am and will always be a bastard. The day I die I will still hold the name of Rivers." Finally looking up at his brother, "But a warm bath does sound good."

"If that high lord happened to be one of the King's sons or one of the Paramounts, I don't think Belric would give two hoots whether you liked him or not. Fall in love with one of those and you'll get what you want and more." said Edmure. "In the end we'll do what Belric wishes, but maybe with the right guidance, our-soon-to-be-Lord-brother will make a decision that benefits both you and our House." He paused to grab another cup of ale from a passing servant, before turning back to Violet. "So if you've only arrived today, I take it you haven't seen Dacey or Nyles? I saw Alice from afar earlier." "I haven't seen either of them," Violet admitted. "I'm afraid I know little of what has been going on here. As for marriage, girls like me don't marry princes or Lords Paramount. I'll get myself a bannerlord, that's the highest I dare aim. The royal princes will marry daughters of Lords Paramount, surely, to bind their fathers and brothers to the royal family." She paused and looked around, glimpsing her youngest brother hovering among the family group. "Oh, there's Nyles."

"Exactly the same count as us!" Alice confirmed with a smirk. "I would love ta meet ya sisters - how old are they? I'm nineteen and the middle sister so... well, father tried his best to pay attention to me but I've always had ta work." She took the seat and crossed her legs. "Will ya sisters be coming ta King's Landing?" Ser Harlan took a seat only after Alice had taken hers. "Alyssa should be seventeen by now, Myranda fourteen," he replied with a fond smile. "I don't believe they will, this was thrown together on rather short notice. I am not sure I'd recognise them now." He studied her for a moment. "Our situation is much like that of you and your brothers here. And sister," he quickly added.

No doubt he would be at least pleased to see you again." said Edmure.

He was just a little boy when I left. It's lucky I recognised him at allm" she said. She started towards Nyles. "Hello, do you remember me?"

His hand stopped shivering long enough to nod and then he arched an eyebrow at his sister. "Unless you've been replaced by an impostor, Violet, of course I remember!" he said. "I'm fourteen not four!" He looked to Edmure. He'd fought plenty with Edmure. He shrugs and gives his sister a hug. "I hope you're well."

Edmure barely knew Nyles. His youngest brother was ten years younger than him and had been only three or four, when Edmure had been squired out to their uncle Richard. Ever since then Edmure had been involved in some sort of fracas, either travelling with his uncle or fighting in the recent wars.
"What, no greeting for me brother?" he asked with a amused smile appearing on his face. "Clearly you mustn't remember me."

Violet returned the hug then stood back as Edmure spoke up. She was troubled by the possible tension in Edmure's comment and it made her realise that she had much to learn about the family she had been separated from for so long.
"I'm well," she said. "But overwhelmed by everything."

Myles has seen his brother plenty over the war. He looks to Edmure. "Was getting to you," he said with a grin. "I've seen Violet twice since I was about...seven?" He smiled. "The years have done you well," he nodded. "You're all so grown up and I'm still the little brother."

"You'll always be the little brother," Violet retorted, though she smiled at him. "Did you miss me? Or were you too busy doing boy's things?"
