Belric arrived, prepared for the trip to Riverrun. He wore full plate, his sword tied strategically to his saddle. Belric had been ambushed too many times over the course of the war to trust the roads. Some said he was too cautious, however his paranoia had led him to Weeping Crest, he never doubted his instincts.
He road his horse up to Violet, "It's a long ride, are you ready?"

"No kidding? I did to..." Yoren said with a wide grin, glad to see a fellow battle buddy from the past, "I got shipped out with the rest of the boys from Donnelwood. Meet up with the Harroway fighters. You fight at redgrass?" He asked, sounding a bit excited to reminisce about the war.

"Sure was," Ben replied. There was always a comraderie among those who fought together in battle, but Ben would rather forget some of what he had seen. Still, he recounted what small role he had in it. "I was with Harroway's archers. Shot my entire quiver that day, ended up in the hand to hand fighting. Not near Belric's charge, though. Were you there when he took down Bloodraven?"

"Aye, I was at weeping crest. Though I ended up driften off a bit from the rest of my group once Belric had slain the Bloodraven..." he said a bit embarrssed, having misunderstood one of belric's directions and gone near completely the wrong way. He looked up towards the sky, remembering what happened well. "Came across a wounded knight, and his squire. Two brothers by the names of Osgray I think...some of Lord Smallwood's forces were trying ta kill em. One knight...he tried to kill the squire. No more then a kid of 12..." He said shaking his head as his hands tightened into fists.
"I'm not a smart man. Or a clever man...and back then I was still just a lad...but I was strong. And I knew the kind of person I am...I don't kill kids. And I don't let others kill 'em either..." He said, a bit more tense then he meant to as he remembered giving a war cry and charging the man, "...Bashed his head in with my hammer. Crumbled his helmet good. Then others came, and I fought...when I was done, belric was already before the prince, And I'd bashed more smallwood heads in then I could rightly count."
Whether that was a big number or not, who could really say with Yoren. But after the story was told, the knight relaxed a bit, letting out a sigh of breath he didn't know he had held as he looked to Benjen.
"I wish I could have been there. To help Belric...I won't get lost again. That, I can promise." He said, cracking his carefree smile again as if the memory he'd just steeped himself in had been nothing but a passing cloud on an otherwise sunny day.

That was quite the story. Maybe Yoren had wanted to get something off his chest there. "Well you sound like a right force of nature, Yoren," Ben answered when Yoren finished, smiling and clapping the big knight on the back. "Glad you and your hammer are on our side. Did you end up seeing those Osgreys again later?" Ben recognized the noble name; it could be useful to have someone with a lord in their debt around.

She favoued him with a smile more genuine than any she had worn since they were reunited. "Of course I am. Just don't set a bruising pace, if you please. My poor old mare won't be able to keep up with that. I may have to look for a new horse soon, one more suited to a lady, if you can spare the coin? But dear old Beautyand I can manage for now." She patted the mare's neck affectionately.

"I don't plan on it," he said with far less enthusiasm than Violet. "But the roads can be dangerous, the less time we spend traveling the better. I'm sure ol' Beauty will be fine."

She laughed softly. "I hope so. And I hope these Tullys don't look down their noses at us,"

"I wouldn't bet on it." Belric had been looked down on his entire life, he hardly expected it to change now. "But we will act respectful, feigning ignorance of their disapproval. One day our house may hold reverence among the seven kingdoms, but not today."

"Perhaps our grandchildren will see that day," she said thoughtfully. "But you earned Harrenhal as far as I can tell. As for me, well, I wasn't born a highborn lady, but I know how to act like one. If they see us behaving like them, mayhaps the Riverlords will think better of us."

"I suppose you are right. I've been fighting the fish for a long time, it will be quite a thing to be invited into their halls."

"Yes. I wonder if there will be other guests besides ourselves," Violet said. "I don't know the Tullys keep a court of Riverlords at Riverrun."

"It will be good if there are other lords present, from my perspective at least. I must find a husband who will suit both my needs and yours. And there's our siblings to think of too. The more allies we have, the more comfortable we will be." She fell quiet for a moment then said "Belric, I think we need to find out which of the Riverlords is most likely to be considered a possible threat to Lord Tully's rule. And ally ourselves with both houses, if we can. Lord Tully must treat us kindly if we are joined to him in alliance as well as fealty, and if we should happen to be allied to the next most powerful lord in the Riverlands too, well, everyone will know we are not to be trifled with."

Finally, after what felt like weeks of RPing, Lady Saesha came out looking a little sickly. She looked as if she were grateful to be outside.
She mounted her horse besides Belric. "pardon my lateness, I was feeling a little nauseous."
