Lord Arnold Reyne and Ser Sebastian Florent approached, and bowed to the Queen, declaring "Your Highness" almost in unison. Florent would have been a very handsome man were it not for a painful encounter with greyscale. He wore a white noseguard in place of a real one and his face bore other evidence. He rarely appeared in court, though whether it was due to public ostracism or his young new wife was unclear.
Florent looked at Harlan and, in a surprisingly young voice for his appearance, asked, "My apologies, Ser, but... Might you be a Hawick of Saltpans? I have this memory of you at a tourney there before the war. I remember you well during the war, but... Well, I didn't do much mingling outside the battlefield."

Ser Harlan was quite surprised at that, but hid it well, and to his credit, didn't stare at the man's face at all. "I am indeed. Harlan's the name," he replied, probably coming off as an amiable man. "Barely got through the quarter finals," he said with a slight smile at the memory. The grass had been greener and he hadn't killed people yet. "I take it you were in the tourney as well then, ser?" he inquired.

His look was genuinely concerned.

"They did," he replied with a reassuring smile. "Do you know them well? I was with Lord Roote's men during the war so I didn't see them as much, though I am glad they all made it."

Arnold Reyne said something into his daughter's ear. She turned to the Blackfort siblings and grabbed their hands. She smiled and leaned forward in a way that only a beautiful woman could.
"Come! Dany is waiting inside, and they have some marvelous frescoes!"
(Mouse Among Vipers curse employed. Myrcella makes successful charm roll against Nyles.)
Nyles was now very conscious that one of the most beautiful women in the Seven Kingdoms held his hand, and dear Gods, she wanted her to follow him. His feet could not follow fast enough.

Richard stuck to the queen and king. He kept his eyes sweeping, memory of that red dragon still lodged in his head. (Observation 46. Gonna be doing this a lot, ha)
He would try to keep track of the royal family and his relatives at least in the room.

Nyles goes to look at frescoes. He has less taste for art than any squire his age, having not grown up around any, so he'd just stare at the lady the whole time.

"Ah, but if you'll excuse me. Duty calls," said Harlan to Ser Sebastian before going after the Blackfort kids and Lady Reyne.

Alice followed along with her friend and brother, not really interested in frescoes but enjoying how Myrcella was toying with Nyles.

(Success)
Richard observes Myrcella, under her father's direction, leading his niece and nephew into the central chamber. Ser Harlan follows after them, torn between his duties as a knight.
Lord Reyne speaks. "Your Highness... Now, that we have a moment alone, I would like to say that while many of the nobility of Westeros greatly appreciate the financial contributions your father made to our cause during the war, we would quite prefer it if you and your family would cease attempting to dictate our way of life and business interests by way of the bedroom..."
*****
The central chamber is as the Blackfort family remembers it from a few days ago. However, instead of it being attended by only the few nobility who made the trip in time for the wedding, it is now filled with lesser born mourners. Butchers, bakers, shipbuilders, landed and hedge knights, all types of the merchant class and those who make everyday life in King's Landing manageable. There are a few of the true commoners, the farmers and carpenters and masons and tavern servers and castle residents, but typically only those whose lives are financially reliant on the King's coin are allowed through.
Myrcella leads them to a young woman and her small child kneeling before the great statue of the Mother. Their fingers crossed in prayer, Dany Stone leads her daughter in prayer. In a minute it ends and she looks up to see her friends. "I wasn't sure if you would come, Alice. Is this your brother? I can see a family resemblance. This is Tysha, my daughter." The little girl clung to her mother and just looked up at them, not sure whether to trust them yet.

Queen Rohanne offered Lord Reyne a false smile, placing a hand on his shoulder. "My dear Lord of Castamere, while I am certain my husband appreciates your own financial contributions to the cause, if he had wished to subject me to your advice, I am certain he would have granted you a seat on his small council."

To a degree at least," Alice said, before smiling and waving at the young girl. "She's an adorable little girl, Daenerys! Hello!" It then struck Alice that they were at a funeral and she quickly assumed a more somber tone, clearly somewhat embarrassed. "Uh, well yes, this is my brother Nyles. Say hello, Nyles," She prodded her brother.

"Your husband is a great man and a wise king, but we did not help him expel the Dornish so we could have a Tyroshi court instead. Please inform your father's friends in the dock that we do not-" "Lord Reyne." The King had returned, absent the Most Devout. "A pleasure to see you mingling with the people of King's Landing. Your son should be arriving any moment now with my children and Lord Bittersteel. Perhaps we can even hold an informal court here with so many of those concerned merchants present." Reyne bowed, "Your Grace. Of course, this is not an appropriate moment. Excuse me, Your Highness." Reyne left the three of them just as Fireball arrived with the remaining family and Kingsguard. Daemon gave his wife a smile, before turning to Richard. "Follow me."

He smiled politely and bowed informally. "Hello, my lady." He had t even seen a fresco, whatever the hell that was.

"You're a squire, yes? Perhaps you'll appreciate this." Dany lead the party to the statue of the Warrior. Beside it, upon the wall, was a portrait of two blonde figures in red, one kneeling before each other. Nearby was the Iron Throne, though the setting itself was clearly not the Red Keep itself. They were surrounded by a cheering crowd.
"My husband showed me this one on our wedding day. I think it's his favorite. Anyway, it depicts the first time a Targaryen was ever knighted. Here, Aegon the Dragon, who was not a knight himself, is publicly declaring his eldest son by Visenya a knight. That son would go on to become Maegor the Cruel, and bring down the Faith Militant. I then asked Sebastian if he had ever heard the word 'irony'. He thought it was hilarious."
Behind the party, a frail voice called. "My Lady..."
An old woman, with several people in the much simpler clothes of the lower classes, had gathered behind them. "Thank you..." The woman murmured. "Thank you for taking a stand against the traitors, here in the place he was murdered."
A young man with soot on his brow cried out, "Long live the red dragon!"
Another man missing an eye yelled out, "Fire and blood!"
(Observation roll. All three player characters realize that Myrcella is wearing a red dress, the color of both House Reyne and House Targaryen, at a funeral for a known Targaryen sympathizer.)
*****
Below the main chamber, Daemon lights a torch for Ser Richard. "Do you know why why I brought you here and not one of the others?"
