Dacey had to frown at Benjen stepping between her and Hoster as it almost knocked her off-balance. She stood, very slowly, and followed them down the stairs after a minute, smearing blood all over the rail. Since none of her limbs had been hurt and she couldn't actually see her mangled back, she felt like she was a lot better off than her relatives Hoster " 'Tis But A Flesh Wound" Blackfort and Willis "Triple Target" Blackfort.
She heard the shouting as she made the landing and attempted to help Willis up.

The men quickly saw to their tasks, a few setting up litters to see the wounded back to Harrenhal without further injury. The rest searched the buildings for any survivors or additional bandits. They returned with a chest of stolen gold of no small value.

Willis groaned as Dacey helped him up, doing his best to get an arm around her shoulder for support. "Maybe wasn't the best plan," he muttered, achieving some semblance of lucidity for a moment.

Dacey winced at the pain his weight brought to her wounds, but helped him out of the door anyway. Were she able, she would have scoffed at that. "The plan was alright," she said, sounding a bit strained. The execution of the plan had even been perfect, right up until... "Your hollering, not so much."
She dropped him off rather unceremoniously to two of the guards and approached Willem. "Good man," she told him with a grave nod, quite relieved she wouldn't have to haul anyone back this time.

"Are you alright, Lady Dacey?" Willem asked, sounding somewhat concerned as he looked at what appeared to be a heavily wounded woman standing before him. "I returned as quickly as I was able, but it seems I was not fast enough. Did the bandits find you while you were waiting?"

Of course no one really called her "Lady Dacey", but she didn't actually care at this point.
"No," she said, briefly squinting over his shoulder. "My brother didn't come with you? Edmure?" she asked him, wanting to get that out of the way first.

"No, my lady. Ser Edmure...er, opted to stay at harrenhal and attend to matters there." Willem replied, peeved by her ignoring his question but trying not to show it.

"Lie down, Dacey," Ben said with emphasis. The woman was as stubborn as a mule, and it was obvious to everyone except her how badly she was hurt. "Enough time for reports later," Ben turned to Willem. "Everyone other than these three are dead, and they need the maester." That was all the relevant information for the moment.
Ben wasted no more time, helping Hoster and Willis into the makeshift litters (and Dacey, if she would allow it) and setting off for Harrenhal at as fast a pace as was safe.

Dacey set her jaw, doubting anything current at Harrenhal could have been as important as clearing one's name, but chose not to dwell on it.
"The short of it... We attacked and more of Hoster's men betrayed us. I can tell you the whole story when we get back," she told Willem and blinked when Benjen spoke to her. "I can't lie down," she deadpanned and turned around, giving them both a front seat view of the deep gashes across her back. She retrieved her bow and with difficulty, mounted her original horse that had been stolen by bandits. Then, she started back with the others.

Willem replied as Dacey told him she had sent him off for absolutely no reason at all, his tone implying he did not. But he said no more about it, recognising that Benjen was right about the need to get the wounded back to a maester. "Lady Dacey, if you will allow us, we should attempt to at least cover your bleeding so you do not lose too much blood while riding."

"You will," she said, looked at the others to make sure they'd been properly tended to, and nodded. "That would be wise. Thank you."

Willem replied, scanning the corpse littered area for material he could use to cover the extensive cuts on Dacey's back to slow the bleeding until someone with actual medical expertise could tend to her. He sees blood and mud and corpses.
Thankfully, one of the guardsmen took off his cloak and offered it to Dacey to wrap around her torso and stem the bleeding.

Willem nodded his thanks to the guardsman and then looked at Dacey. "That seems to be the best option, my lady."
