Willis shrugged. "Might be I've been keeping my eyes open, seeing what's on offer. Made a real nice acquaintance last night, but that one might be aimin' a little high."

"Don't think too hard, such decisions should never be given proper appraisal." He happily recieved a refill for his cup, capping his jest with a long swig of sweet wine.

"See, normally I'd agree. The thing bein'," Willis began to speak more quietly, "Her brother happens to be a lord. So I'd have to rope your ass in to do some negotiatin'. And then her goodbrother...well, let's just say he ain't a friend to you and us."

Willem grinned slightly more, following what Willis was alluding to. He decided to allow Belric to reply instead of contributing to the discussion.

"Who's her brother?" He asked, giving Willis a sly smile.

"Oh, no one in particular," Willis replied, grinning, "Just some bridge's toll keeper up on the Green Fork."

Belric snorted, quickly putting his hand to his nose incase any wine attempted to excape. He laughed, shaking his head at Willis. "Dear god man, did she smell like a fish?"

Willem raised an eyebrow in Willis' direction, clearly amused as he anticipated the verdict.

"It's her sister that shares her bed with a trout, not her. Though this could be a chance to rightly piss off said trout." Willis was not a man who knew politics. But he sure as shit knew that Belric would go after a chance to diplomatically annoy Medgar Tully.

"She must smell like a fish," he confirmed with a laugh. "Though, this presents a strange opportunity. Orland Frey is not his brother, that much is certain. He may even entertain the idea of a marriage with a lowborn family like our own, if it benefits him somehow." He tipped his cup to Willis.

"We will have to do our best to make Willis look good tomorrow." Willem offered. "I've already had my glory, so I can take a fall for the family if necessary."

"None of that shit," Willis replied to Willem, "If I do well, I do well. Don't need you all makin' my ass look any better than it already does." He turned back to Belric, "That did actually come up last night. You go back a ways, they're just as common as us. And it sounded like some of the family might not be happy with still taking orders from big sis at Riverrun."

Belric grinned again, finding something humorous about his cousins' banter. He could not help but wear the same drunken smile even as Willis spoke to him. When he replied, he kept his booming voice down, "If that's the truth, then treat the girl proper... or as proper as she likes. A friend who owns a bridge is a good friend to have."

Seeing as the conversation had turned to matters that were none of his concern, Willem helped himself to some wine and drank heartily as the duo talked of Willis' romantic prospects.
