"You have my gratitude, as always. I know this must be very hard for you," she seemed to think for a moment then placed a hand lightly on his shoulder.

Jamie dropped the air of professionalism for a moment, letting a spark of suffering shine through. "I simply hide myself in the smithy, my lady. I have apprentices for anything involving the castle, excepting council business. A simple life is easiest for now."

Belric arrived at Jamie's forge, carrying his breastplate and dented pauldron, unaware Saesha was currently visiting. Head down, focused on the broken armor, he shouted. "Smith, you in? Fuckin' armor finally gave out. Piece of shit anyway. Lasted the war but couldn't last..." Picking his head up, he noticed Saesha and Jamie. He took a pause, getting the feeling he was interrupting. He cleared his throat, and changed his tone to something more appropriate, "Need some patchwork to get through the tournament." He set the armor down on the nearest table so the smith could take a look.
He gave his wife a curious look, "What are you doing here, my dear?" The question held no hint of accusation.

"Talking to Jaime here about villiage administration, he is their representative to Harrenhal and as we have stolen Ser Valarr, I assume his natural replacement, for the meantime," Saesha replied, looking to her husband, "I like to check up on the town of course. Jaime says that they are positively thriving since we arrived and I am so relieved to hear it, after our rocky start."

Belric grinned at her, "Harrenhal is lucky to have you. While I'm playing knight, you're hard at work."
Noting that Jamie had kept his silence, Belric address him directly. "Have you thought any more on my proposal, Jamie"

"Have you thought any more on my proposal, Jamie" "I have, my lord. I have spoken to some of the other artisans, and we think we have a suitable concept. Imagine seven figures about an obelisk. Upon the obelisk will be written the names of the sixty odd children. We might scrap the seven figures for time and resources, but some of us wanted some sort of consecration of the dead. Many were simply too young to attend Sept and there's some fear that their demise might somehow drive their souls into limbo." Jaime shrugged. "I know nothing of theology, but it seems appropriate."

"I will see to it that you have the proper resources." Replied Belric, wanting to portray solidarity in his commitment. "I will also request the Septa bless the monument when it is unveiled. Perhaps he can ease the minds of those worried about the afterlives of their children."
"Now about my armor," he said, flicking the steel of his breastplate. "I need it to survive the tournament."

Jaime took the armor and inspected with a trained gaze. "I had heard my lord made sport of Skinner Jon's men, but not that they made sport of his armor."
He traced his fingers over the scarred metal. "Still, it can be repaired, and swiftly enough."

"Surely you can understand a man taking care of his own." Replied Belric. "It is not my first set of dented armor. Will you make me another?"

"Surely you can understand a man taking care of his own." Replied Belric. "It is not my first set of dented armor. Will you make me another?" "Aye, I can do that, milord. You only require a breastplate it seems, and I can have your measurements from this one." He set it down on a counter, and retrieved a small board and piece of chalk from behind it. "I shall require..." He scribbled on it. "Perhaps two days. You'll make the melee at least. But it won't be pretty like many of the others you'll see, especially in the joust. Practical but not pretty."

"My current armor will do fine for the tournament," he responded. "But I want you to make me a whole new set, worthy of Harrenhal. Time is no object."

Seasha smiled at her husband and kissed his cheek, "even in rags your bravery would make you worthy of Harrenhal, but I can't wait to see you in it," she whispered the last part into his ear, "thank you, Jaime, for your understanding, you and your wife should eat with us sometime after the tourney, " she smiled between them and left, hoping Jaime would complete her husband's armour faster than her own.
