Sigfry looked to the woman bandit who had been present among his new traveling partners in crime. He had kept quiet, wanting to focus on the job at hand and merely get this done to survive. The wolfs head noble turned and rolled his right shoulder slightly, the weight of his hooked hand an ever present feature in his mind as he spoke. "Handsome? Well that's certainly a new one..." He said, not used to compliments in general as he tried to figure out what this bandit wanted from him, he waited a moment, weighing his words before continuing, "I suppose I should, considering we're all part of this job. Augie as he's known certainly knows how to assemble an...interesting band." He said, referring both to himself as the others he'd seen. Their motley crew would hopefully be enough, he didn't fancy dying to a ponce of a knight for just a few dragon. "A fella like you...?" Vex trailed off, slightly raising an eyebrow. "I shall catch you outside shortly, then." Having rounded everyone up, she left the tavern and mounted her horse after making sure a certain sack was attached to it. She packed away the map and the coinpurse for the time being and turned to the others. "Moving out," she said, and they presumably rode out of Lord Harroways Town, in the general direction of the border. On the way out, she kept an eye out for authorities, as well as a nice quiet corner nearby for them to make camp. (43 Observation)

Despite the one eyes, Vex has no trouble finding a suitable spot a few miles south of Darry to make camp for the evening, well enough off of the Kingsroad that it was unlikely they would be seen or heard.
(+1 Observation. Move to campsite thread.)

The good thing about having a weapon for a limb was you never really had to make sure it was on his person. He still needed his sword however, though he tended to pack light given the need to constantly be on the move. He had ridden with the others, making sure to keep on alert for any guards or patrols.
Riding in a group was pretty assuring, the strength in numbers giving a sense of confidence he'd not had in a long time. Perhaps, he thought, it would not be so bad.

////////////// Barley returned to the Lady's dragon that afternoon to see about chatting up some guards. She looked around the place for any sign of anyone looking guard like.

Even in the afternoon, the tavern was packed, and guardsmen were not hard to find. It was clearly that Roote's men at arms frequented the establishment often and one did not become an established crime lord in any city without knowing how to properly libate (or bribe) the law. Barley could see a half dozen men in Roote livery dicing at a nearby table, likely having worked all night on sentry duty at the keep, slept during the day, then headed to the tavern upon waking to spend their pay.

Barley noticed them and looked to see if there was a group watching them she could intern mingle with, thinking she couldn’t just go over and interrupt.

A few of Simon's working girls hovered near the table, either already hired to keep the men company or hoping that whoever won the most coin would be in the need of company to spend it on when the dicing was done.

Barley did not want to be confused with them and so looked around for someone else who looked like they may be connected to the castle.

That was a trickier task to accomplish by observation alone. The guards were easy to spot as they bore the brown double-headed horse of House Roote upon their tabards. Otherwise it was difficult to determine whether washerwomen, cooks, stablehands, or anyone else worked at the castle or simply one of the local establishments. Lord Harroway's Town was just shy of being a proper city.

Barley approached the bar towards the barmaid who had spoken to Harlan and them before and smiled at her.
"Good evening." She said pleasantly and paid for an ale.

The barmaid poured Barkey the ale, but slid her coin back. “Boss was clear your drinks are on the house,” she insisted. “He was mighty surprised you lot didn’t stick around for an evening of free libations but supposed you had better places to be.”

"I don't ask questions of Vex" Barley said with a shrug, "I was wondering if you could help me out though, I was looking for people who go about up at the castle, wondered if someone who sees them all every day such as yourself could help me out. Any guards who are known to be chummy with Ser Oliver?"

“If she’s anything like my boss, I don’t blame you,” the barmaid replied, with an involuntary shiver. “His squires over in the corner. Been ordering drinks and company since dawn.” She pointed out a young man of 15 or 16 in noble garb. “Been telling everyone who will listen that he’ll have his spurs by week’s end.”

“He must be drunk then,” Barley said with sympathy, looking at the barmaid with a hint of sympathy. “I had best go introduce myself, then,” she said and approaches, looking at how he was sitting, in what position and around whom before deciding how to proceed

"That's an understatement," the woman replied, giving Barley the same sympathetic look in reply. As she turned to grab something off the bar, Barley caught sight of a strange burn on her forearm just above her sleeve and another on her shoulder near where her dress hung.
Other than the occasional server who refilled his goblet with fresh wine, the young man seemed to be alone for the moment. Likely he had had run the gambit through the women on offer at the start of his bender and was now either exhausted, out of coin, or waiting until he was ready for another round. He was certainly drunk, cheeks flushed and rosy, propping up his head on one of his hands as if it would fall over without support.
