Clegane Bowl, its coming. Also it's good to see all the book theories pretty much confirmed by the show. Hopefully they carry over to the books, or the books will just have a shit ton of red herrings.

They kinda butchered Septon Meribald's fantastic speech into McShanes "Make love not war" bit. I mean, McShane was great, but he could've been better if they gave him Meribald's part.
Also, nice to see BwB back. When I saw that cloak I jumped like a little girl.

I thought McShane's character was fine, but the conclusion of that story was nasty I've never liked the Hound but I'd be cool with him killing the Mountain. I liked how they've handled Riverrun so far, though the lack of Genna is a disappointment. Lyanna Mormont was cool and I was glad they acknowledged Maege even though they killed her off but I wanted to scream at Glover. He made a good point, sure, but we just haven't seen enough of the bannerlords being loyal to the Starks. When Robb was alive we only saw the disloyal ones once the Greatjon stopped appearing in the show. I assume Sansa was writing to Littlefinger to say she needs his support after all. Arya's scene was a shock but I'm glad they actually did something interesting with the Waif, for once. I'm curious about how they will play out. I've not been very keen on the Faceless (Wo)Man storyline. The Queen of Thorns was on point, as ever, and I quite like Margaery's game of pretending to be devout, though I'm not sure she'll be able to fool the High Sparrow forever. I kind of like Yara little better at the moment but I'm wondering why they changed her sexual orientation. Now it just seems like she is just copying the Ironborn men.

Well, Asha's love interest was a guy named Qarl the Maiden. Maybe D&D thought actual maidens was just as well.

Qarl the Not Really a Maid It was just random to throw that in there with no previous context in the show, and no suggestion of it in the books.

I am ecstatic to see Jamie back on the right path again. I was beginning to think they were going to avoid him taking control of the Crown's forces all together.
Lyanna Mormont was the highlight for sure. I watched the episode at a dinner party with a bunch of friends, and she definitely garnered the best reactions form the crowd. Apart from everyone seeing the Hound again.

They should have shown the BF dying like a boss.
Beric's new outfit is fucking gorgeous, he looks awesome in it. I want one.
Pod and Bronn are cute.
Dany's entrance was underwhelming and obvious, looked like some sitcom bullshit.
Cleganebowl is kill. But Cersei going Aerys is gaining steam.
Waif looked like fucking T-1000 running after Arya (I still don't know how she managed to do all that shit with a swiss cheese belly).

The only thing that makes me happy about giving the BF an off screen death is that D&D didn't get the opirtunity of making him die like a little bitch. 'Cuz you know, they love to ruin badass characters.

Btw, damn you, Dave. I was discussing the episode with sister and pronounced Belric every single time I spoke about Dondarrion. *shudders*

Im not sorry Jon.
Did anyone else find this episode extremely boring? The scene with Tyrion talking to Grey Worm and slave girl dragged on way to long. I was sitting there, wondering why I should give a fuck if any of them could tell a joke... And then, surprise, no one told a funny joke except Tyrion.
Also, is Arya a super hero now?

My thoughts. I found this episode frustrationg and boring. Meereen still sucks. The scene with Tyrion, Missandei and Grey Worm was just cringy and a waste of time and I was annoyed that Dany miraculously showed up at the end. I'm also sick of the "Dany does something cool" theme music, Incidentally, where is Varys going? I wonder who his Westerosi allies will be? Dorne seems unlikely now but who else could it be? The Kings Landing stuff annoyed me too. I'm so frustrated with them letting us think something dramatic and interesting is going to happen, only to have it not happen at all. They did it with Margaery's walk being interrupted by the Tyrell/Lannister men and not happening, and they did it again with the announcement of trial by combat being outlawed. I liked the interaction with Jaime and Brienne, especially when he told her to keep the sword, and I liked the Edmure scenes until he decided to arrest the Blackfish. Book Edmure helped the Blackfish escape, after all, and it's just not like a Tully to abandon their own. Then again, I'm also gutted that the Blackfish chose to die rather than head North to join Sansa. So much for Family, Duty, Honour. I'm not a Hound fan but I did enjoy seeing Beric and Thoros again. I'm glad Arya is actually going back to Westeros but I could definitely have done without the whole story of the Waif trying to kill her first. It was clear Arya was going to survive so it felt like mere filler. I was disappointed to have no Northern stuff this week but mildly hopeful for next week after watching the trailer.
