Nyles has no interest in peace now. He will attack until everyone is dead or the king himself orders him to stop.

Harlan cursed when he was cut in the leg, though kept it strictly PG-13. He noticed Alice from the corner of his eye and positioned himself between her and the northman for a proper charge.

Richard breathes out slowly, conflicted inside himself. But he had sworn a path to this man, to keep his secrets. To give when given, generosity to meet generosity. He looks around to make sure they were completely alone. "My family... Has old blood your grace. Much as yours does, though ours is of the first men, not of Valyria. I see things sometimes. True things." If Richard expected to be stripped of his cloak for witchcraft or madness, he was mistaken. "Similar gifts have run in my family. They were far more common when we still had dragons, but occasionally, the dragon dreams still come to a select few. My son Daemon has the gift. Shiera and Brynden, though they were more than simply gifted. There are... teachers in the Free Cities one can locate for the right price. If you ever need to know more-" "Your Grace!" It was a squire running through the level, yelling at the top of his lungs. "Your Grace, the Smallfolk ib the sept have been roused into a fit! Lord Reyne's daughter and the Blackforts are being held hostage!" Daemon, always prepared for the worst news, drew Blackfyre and lead his sworn shield back to the main chamber.

Round 3
Nyles wrestles for the blade with his enemy, while still blinded with the life's blood of his other enemy. The peasant is much weaker though, with the squire's recent steady diet leaving him in better fighting shape. He should brag to Lord Hightower if he survives this. A scrawny but well-aimed fist to the face suggests he might not, and the sword leaves his hand. He can see just enough through the blood to watch his own sword lift above his head, then descend towards him.
Ranulph's legwork is still faster than Harlan's, but not his arms. Harlan manages to deflect several strikes, before Lady Royce's favorite convert claims a facial hit. He'll have a new scar on his temple. Perhaps finally losing his grace and patients, the Knight of Saltpans begins to aim for the vital organs of his opponent. The duel lasts almost three minutes before it is decided. Ser Ranulf of the Blackfrost never speaks.
Alice Blackfort's dagger takes a moment to recover from the back of the neck of the man who would have murdered her brother. She looks up in time to see a woman her own age about to smash her own head. Her name is Lucy and she serves pies in her mum's shop not far from the Great Sept. Nyles doesn't even know her gender, just that someone else is charging at them again when he picks up his sword and pierces her just above the womb.
When Alice helps her brother up and wipes his face with her dress, she notices there are no more approaching enemies. Then she sees them. Ser Daemon is leading the Kingsguard. Beside him, her uncle Richard is fighting a mace wielding knight, whose heraldry is a bear's head clutching its own mace. She will never learn the significance of it, as Richard almost cleanly decapitates the man with some immaculate footwork. The rest of the Kingsguard are practically dancing, with Gwayne Corbray, the blind knight, never once feeling the need to look in the direction of any of his opponents.
By the time the rebels knights have been defeated, Harlan has backed Ranulph into a corner. The final blow severs both the left arm and carotid artery of the Knight of the Blackfrost. The dying man spends his last moments looking up at the statue of the Maiden. Perhaps it is a good death.
(Medium Wound to Harlan. 1 point awarded to Sword for Ser Richard.)
At this point, it is routine butchery. Lord Reyne is kneeling to tend to his daughter, but near the Crone, Fireball, Gareth the Grey, and Black Byren Flowers are just executing whichever peasants they don't think are kneeling fast enough. And that's a lot of peasants.

Nyles looks about with disgust. His face would feel great the next few days, no doubt. "Thanks, Alice," he said as his sister wiped the blood off him. He looks at the bodies strewn about them walks over to see how Myrcella is, given his family is walking. If she has wounds he'll try using his primitive first aid. There wasn't a lack of cloth about for bandages, including the bottom of the lady's own red dress. They wanted the Targaryens back, they had said. The peasant words kept coming back to his mind. The red dragons had nearly caused, however inadvertently, the death of his sister. The red dragons would have to die. He'll also try helping Harlan out; the sworn sword had been quite useful.

The moment the fighting was over the adrenaline left Alice and she became aware of her surrounding; of what had happened.
"Oh gods..." She managed, her voice low and fearful. She dropped her dagger and sagged to the ground, not looking at her blood spattered dress and her hands. Her hands that had killed people.

His sworn brothers would not stop their slaughter for any reason, but maybe he could at least save some of these idiots from getting butchered. (Persuasion 50)

(Success. Nyles is awarded 1 point in Medicine) Myrcella has a stab wound in her lower back. She still lives, and Lord Reyne is already stripping pieces of red cloth in an effort to stymie the bleeding, but his hands are shaking and unsure at the thought of losing a child.
Nyles, without asking, grabs the water canteen from the Lord's side, and immediately pours it over the wound to rinse out the dirt. Then, with steady hands, he wraps the strips already torn around her waist. A maester will need to look her over, but she appears stable for now.

Almost all of them knelt at Richard's command. The last one, an old woman hurling curses at the Kingsguard, was grabbed by the hair and run through by Black Byren in a quick, easy motion. He cleaned his blade with the clean portion of her dress. After the deed was done, he approached Richard and laughed. "Hell of a fuckin' bellow on you, Richard. I thought we'd be cleaning' up all day." Fireball joined them. "We might still be. The smallfolk are moaning even louder in the streets. Some pair of clever dunces set a carriage on fire, then used it to break through the City Watch lines. The plaza is just as bad as this shite. We need another way out of this place."

Harlan turned round immediately after slaying the northerner to take in the situation. He found his view obstructed by blood so he wiped it off, smearing his forehead in the process. The situation seemed to be more or less stable for the moment, though there was of course no telling how long it would stay that way.
With his sword still in his hand, Harlan made his way to Alice, at first glance afraid she'd been cut. "Are you hurt?" he asked as he crouched down next to her, blood gushing from his leg and temple.

The squire looks about and finds some of those good tall candlesticks, then finds some tunics from dead peasants and the like and runs the sticks through the bottom opening and the sleeves to make a litter. "Alice, we'll need to carry her on this!" He called out. (25 medicine if a skill is required)

He suggested with no real conviction. It wasn't a good idea, unless they had someone who knew the city lie the back of their hand. The chaos averted for a moment, he checks on Nyles and Alice.

After finishing the litter or failing at it, Nyles shakes his head to clear his vision then acknowledges his uncle. "Good here," he said, "but she needs a master." The adrenaline was fading but not done; he could feel the shakes threatening again.

"Why did they do this??"
